Brief Description: A dark ginger tabby with yellow eyes.
In-depth Description: A dark-furred ginger tabby with markings around his luminous pale yellow eyes. His muzzle and paws are white as if they are covered with snow and his fur is soft and slightly fluffy. Like his brother, Snakepad, he is medium-sized but is less muscular and more agile. His nose has a scar due to an argument with his father, Tigerstripe.

History
History: Lightningkit had always been acknowledged and praised by his father, although his brother, Snakekit, was always favored due to being a fire elementalist. Lightningkit didn't mind, in fact, he despised his father's views and the fact that he treated all she-cats like they were trash. If it wasn't for him being a boy, Tigerstripe would probably treat him as badly as he had Lightningkit's mother and sister, Willowkit. Tigerstripe always pushed him to hit harder, react faster, and move quicker, putting both he and his brother through strict training. Lightningkit always tried to cheer up his sister and mother but had to be careful that his father didn't see him. When he became an apprentice, Lightningpaw was given Hawk- as a mentor, he was strict but compassionate and taught the young apprentice well. Snakepaw and Willowpaw had also become apprentices and Lightningpaw was happy to see his sister learning quickly and eventually surpassing her two brothers. Both Hawk- and Tigerstripe's training had shaped Lightningpaw into a strong and quick-witted cat, he loved his family dearly but distrusted his father and grew farther away from him. When Tigerstripe yelled at them for letting their sister surpass them, he snapped and started to yell at him. Lightningpaw argued with his father that his views were unjust and extremely discriminatory, but only received a swipe at his muzzle, leaving a scar on his nose. Realizing that trying to reason with Tigerstripe was impossible, he stopped viewing him as a father. Snakepaw didn't seem to care much about how their mother and sister were being treated and he was always looking up to Tigerstripe, Lightningpaw still loved his brother and was concerned that he would share Tigerstripe's views. Eventually, Willowpaw became a warrior and earned the name Willowstripe before he and Snakepaw, the apprentice held no grudge against his sister and was overjoyed that she was able to earn her warrior name. When Tigerstripe yelled at them for letting their sister surpass them, he snapped and started to yell at him. Lightningpaw argued with his father that his views were unjust and extremely discriminatory, but only received a swipe at his muzzle, leaving a scar on his nose. Realizing that trying to reason with Tigerstripe was impossible, he stopped viewing him as a father. Tigerstripe was still infuriated that Willowstripe had become a warrior before them and pushed his two sons harder than ever, resulting in Lightningpaw disliking him even more. Once he became a warrior with his brother, earning the names Lightningheart and Snakepad, the young tom felt relieved that the hold Tigerstripe held on them was loosened, although not completely cut. The warrior barely spoke with Tigerstripe and instead spent more time with his siblings and mother, Willowstripe was extremely strong-willed and determined to become a great warrior. She had great skill and while Snakepad was also very skilled, he seemed duller, as if his training with Tigerstripe had turned him into an obedient follower with no will of his own. Refusing to speak with Tigerstripe and avoiding him as well as he could, Lightningheart managed to become a better warrior on his own. When Heatherstar became ruler, Snakepad changed, becoming more independent and lively, Lightningheart was relieved that his brother had managed to escape their father. This quickly turned to dismay after he watched helplessly as his brother tumble back into the grasp of Tigerstripe. Although the tom had such a harsh father, he managed to grow up calmer and more peaceful, just wanting to live his life as he wanted, instead of someone else controlling it.
