This is the official thread for Featherpaw vs Hollyfoot. Only the respective roleplayers can reply to this thread. This is an unequal skill battle. Hollyfoot's basic attacks will deal a maximum of 5 damage instead of her regular 10. Basic attacks for each character do a maximum of 5 damage, a minimum of 1. Once the characters have begun to fight, it will be a turn based system. Ex. Lynxstar attacks -> Attack will be rolled -> Ravenstar attacks -> Attack will be rolled. Hollyfoot had been sent on a lone patrol to the borders. She listened to Lynxstar and made her way towards the eastern border. Hollyfoot walked slowly along the border, taking in everything. She suddenly stopped, smelling a Darkclan cat. She crept into a bush and waited for the cat to appear. She recognized the smell to be Featherpaw, a Darkclan apprentice. She watched and waited with patience, wondering why the apprentice was out on her own. Shadowcat |

She was doing this for her clan. Finally, after moons of training, Featherpaw was finally able to give back to the clan that had helped and supported her when she needed it. An urge to prove herself caused Featherpaw to split off from her clanmates and search for an opponent. Walking along the Thunderclan border, the apprentice paused to look at the setting sun, the darkness would prove useful to her... Continuing her search, the she-cat padded along the snowy forest. Soon the territory would be covered in the blood of both clans, Featherpaw didn't wish for any cat to get hurt, but she had to do what she could for her clan.

Hollyfoot watched as she recognized Featherpaw walking along the border. Hollyfoot stepped out from the bushes and stepped in front of the apprentice. Hollyfoot's eyes were stern yet gentle. "Featherpaw, what are you doing so far from Darkclan? Don't you know it's dangerous?" Hollyfoot's voice was covered in kindness, yet deep inside her she knew she should be harsher to the apprentice. As she heard another cat, Featherpaw immediately unsheathed her claws. Turning towards the source of the voice she spotted the Thunderclan warrior. It was Hollyfoot, Lynxstar's sister. Her words were kind, but it was a time of war. "Yes it is dangerous, but this is war. What about the danger the missing cats may be in?" The tabby drew back into the shadows of the forest, the setting sun would prove an advantage to her. Letting the shadows wrap around her pelt and conceal her from the warrior, the apprentice circled around to where her back was facing. Quietly placing herself there, she bunched up her muscles and leaped, a slight feeling of guilt caused her to hesitate but it was quickly replaced with resolve. "Don't underestimate your enemy!" Hollyfoot hisses and whirled around, facing up to the apprentice, "This is an unfair battle, but then again, you are an arrogant apprentice. I will show you the wrath of Thunderclan." She lowered her belly to the ground, flattening herself. She glared at the apprentice, waiting for a move.

A feeling of satisfaction flashed in Featherpaw as her attack connected. Although it was just a graze, it showed that she could fight, even against a warrior. Her landing wasn't great, though. Accidentally tripping over a tree root, the apprentice went sprawling onto the ground. Frustration rose in her as the tabby attempted to get up. Hollyfoot hissed as the graze hit her. She watched as the apprentice tripped over a tree root and she took the chance to attack the apprentice. She ran at the apprentice, her yes fierce and furious.

Featherpaw winced as the sharp rocks pierced her pelt, they hurt. Giving a short hiss, she pulled herself up off the ground. Her cloak of shadows still wrapped around her pelt, although now slightly less effective, the apprentice ran in a circle around Hollyfoot, attempting to confuse the warrior. I can't loose, not after everything Darkclan gave to me. Determination filled the tabby as she bunched up her muscles and pounced again. Hollyfoot flinched at the attack, she's good for an apprentice. But Hollyfoot's determination filled her with rage. Part of her mind was laughing at the apprentice, part of her was being cautious. She watched the apprentice, waiting for the perfect moment to launch herself. She spotted it and launched herself.
