Ravenstar growled at his words. "Your land was not stolen! You'd be smart to remember the Representative who gave it to us first." She meowed. She quickly lept away as the tom lunged forward for his next attack, dodging it carefully. "StarClan gave their blessings when they gave me my nine lives, and they have yet to strike me down if they've changed their minds."

She scoffed. "You've had the cove all leafbare, don't act like not having it is what starved you. It's not our fault that your cats are too incompetent to hunt on the ground." Ravenstar channeled another round of siphoning tendrils, hoping to catch him by surprise during their trash talk. "The swamp is hard to hunt in. Most of us don't come from RiverClan, we don't hunt in the water. We accepted the portion of the swamp from ShadowClan because we needed to take what we could get. There are few who can hunt there."

Snarling, the tom tried to dodge from the tendrils that had built up, but he was caught and they stung. The molly in front of him still spoke, but he cared for none of her words.

"And here you are, trying to take away what's not yours again! Through an ambush no less. How pitiful- can't rely on your strengths." By thid point, the tom was more talk than bite. He was weak and he knew it, but he wouldn't stop here. The river still flowed and so he will continue to swim. Whether StarClan took him away that night or not.
