Having finished up her tasks earlier than usual today, Daisybloom found quiet solitude under the moonlight. The calico molly finished grooming her pelter crouch shrinking as she wrapped her tail around her body. Newleaf had arrived, but the nights were still freezing sometimes. Perhaps if she went for a walk she'd warm up? Get the blood pumping!
The molly rose to her paws, picking a direction and setting out into DarkClan territory. She walked for a while, finding peace in the thawed tundra. Being comfortable out here, alone was something Daisybloom hadn't considered possible when making the move to DarkClan. She felt comfortable enough to walk around without using her night sight around every corner. It was relieving.
Daisybloom found herself at the edge of the ravine, looking down uneasily. Normally, the molly should be afraid, right? It was always in her nature to back out of unfamiliar situations, but this...it felt like something at the bottom of the ravine was...calling to her.
She frowned, uncertain as she considered her options. Daisybloom reached down with her paw, testing the distance from where she stood to the next piece of solid ground. She backed away and looked up at the moon, letting out the breath she had been holding.
Daisybloom channeled her element, then summoned a shadow copy of herself. She slowly walked it towards the edge of the ravine, placing it's paws down onto the closest ledge. The molly watched as the copy faded, flattening her ears as she let go. Holding it was still hard work, but she was certain that Crowthroat would be proud.
Having all the confidence she needed from her copy, Daisybloom took a deep breath and carefully placed one paw on the ledge below. NOTES ; daisybloom my beloved,,,

Was going out this late on his own against his mentor's direct orders? Perhaps, but Finchpaw wasn't tired. It was the opposite, actually. The young tom wanted nothing more than to keep exploring DarkClan's territory. There were so many new things to see, and such little time with all of his elemental control training.
The tabby tom was possibly over-curious about the newly-formed ravine. If going out alone at night was against orders, then coming out to the ravine on his own was definitely against orders.
As he approached the edge, the familiar figure of another cat caught his eye. He quickly huddled close to a bush, observing their movements. They were awfully close to the edge, despite Ravenstar's orders. How peculiar...
Finchpaw approached as he watched the feline place one paw on a ledge beyond his sight. Getting a better look, he recognized the warrior to be Daisybloom. How strange, he never took her as the adventurous type. He cleared his throat as he got closer to her. "Daisybloom, right?" He asked.
"Looks like we're both gonna be in a bit of trouble if we get caught out here. I don't know what you're up to here, but I want in." He grinned. "And you can't say no, because I'm already coming whether you like it or not." Finchpaw flicked his tail, standing next to the molly.
He looked down at the ledge she had a forepaw on and wiggled his hind legs. He crawled closer to the ledge and reached down, placing his forepaws on the ledge. Finchpaw climbed down and looked up at Daisybloom. "And if you plan on sending me back to camp, you gotta come get me." word count, notes, n stuff

Daisybloom's hackles rose and she sank her claws into the ground below her as a somewhat familiar voice startled her. She turned to face Finchpaw, allowing her fur to settle a little. "O-Oh...Finchpaw...y-you startled me." She meowed, flicking her ear.
"I-M-My paw slipped i-is all. I-I wasn't d-doing anything." She lied, hoping he hadn't been around long enough to see what she had been up to. Daisybloom furrowed her brow as he stood next to her, then reached down to where her paw rested on the ledge.
Before she could speak, the apprentice had already hopped down. "F-Finchpaw!"
The calico warrior kneaded the ground below her as she contemplated her options. She couldn't chase after him and expect him to listen to her, right? He already stated that she had to go get him and drag him back to camp if that was her plan.
But she couldn't just leave him to climb down into the ravine alone. If he got hurt...StarClan she would never forgive herself. It would be her fault if she left him unattended. Her being here tempted the apprentice into climbing down in the first place.
Daisybloom took a deep breath before hopping down on the ledge, flattening her ears in uncertainty. "F-Finchpaw, y-you should s-seriously g-get back to camp." NOTES ; n/a

Finchpaw flicked his tail as Daisybloom spoke. "Didn't mean to spook you, sorry. Shoulda known you were skittish." He meowed. Hearing Daisybloom say her paw had slipped was quite amusing, Finchpaw couldn't help but let out a purr. "Ah-huh, and hedgehogs can fly." He huffed.
The tom listened to his senior as she called his name, already looking for his next secure ledge to hop onto.
The brown tabby wriggled his hindlegs before jumping down to the next ledge, looking up as Daisybloom pleaded that he return to camp. "I already told you, Day, you gotta come get me if you want me to go home." The tom meowed.
Finchpaw scanned the terrain, finding a few more spots to jump to. One by one, the tom slowly made his way down to the bottom of the ravine. He glanced up to see if Daisybloom was still following, then started to wander around.
"Gee, the ravine is almost as deep as the Great Tree is tall in ThunderClan." He meowed. word count, notes, n stuff

She offered him an awkward smile as he apologized for scaring her. "I-It's okay...b-but please don't do it again." She frowned.
The calico warrior watched in horror as the apprentice ignored her, continuing to climb down the ravine. Great StarClan, are all apprentices like this? She asked herself, terrified to follow. Daisybloom didn't have anywhere near Finchpaw's level of carelessness or stupidity when she was his age. She couldn't understand why the young tom was so set on breaking his neck trying to climb down.
"F-Finchpaw! I-I swear to--Oh for StarClan's s-sake, h-he's not even listening t-to me." She groaned. Daisybloom had no choice but to follow him. ThunderClan, I swear! Do they all have their noses stuck up their own rears?!
She carefully followed the apprentice's trail, her fur on edge as her heart raced.
The sheer amount of relief she experienced upon reaching the bottom in once piece, and thankfully, Finchpaw had as well. "O-Okay, y-you've seen the bottom. Now c-can we please go? R-Ravenstar gave strict orders n-not to come here." NOTES ; n/a

Finchpaw looked around, curiously sniffing the air. He turned his head as Daisybloom made it to the bottom, eagerly smiling at the young warrior. "See? You're braver than you think." He purred. "Some cats say you're as scared as a mouse." Finchpaw meowed.
A new point of interest became one of the fallen elms in his path. He quickly padded over, wriggling his hind legs before jumping up onto the trunk. "It's a shame, really. This would've made for a good climbing tree." He flicked his ear.
He walked along the trunk for a few moments, then looked back at Daisybloom. "Surely you can manage to get up here, right?" word count, notes, n stuff
