History
History: Born in ThunderClan, Wolfkit shared her nest with her brother, Owlkit. The pair were close, spending nearly every moment together. Upon discovering Owlkit's Dark element, the Clan quickly shunned him, leaving the pair to be outcasted by the rest of the Nursery kits. Owlkit forced a smile for his sister's sake, but Wolfkit could always feel something was wrong.
Upon being apprenticed, Wolfpaw watched as their mother severed ties with Owlpaw, disowning the tom and refusing to acknowledge his existence. The molly was disgusted with her behaviour, and openly spoke out against the Clan's treatment towards him. She always felt the need to look out for Owlpaw and protect him, fearful that the Clan would turn against him for his Element.
In time, they did.
As Owlpaw showed signs of Consumption, his treatment in the Clan got worse, further causing the apprentice to lose control. Wolfpaw watched as he spiralled, desperate to get her brother the help he needed; to tell him the words he needed to hear. Anything to try and save him, to keep him alive.It wasn't enough, as Owlpaw succumbed to his cruel fate, leaving Wolfpaw as an only child. She finished her training and earned the warrior name of Wolfspring.
Wolfspring continued to serve ThunderClan bitterly for moons, having been disillusioned with the Clan for their treatment of Owlpaw. As she watched the treatment continue onto other Dark elementals unfortunate enough to be born into ThunderClan, Wolfspring refused to remain silent. She spoke out against the Clan in its entirety, criticizing its leadership and morals, then left the Clan without a second thought.
She found her way to WindClan, initially finding it hard to make friends in her new Clan. When being assigned as Rowanpaw's mentor after her previous one had passed, Wolfspring found a friend in her mother, Meadowpool. She didn't realize how little time it took to fall in love, soon finding herself fawning over the warrior. As the warrior confessed her illegal romance to a RiverClan warrior and the truth behind her kits' origins, Wolfspring swore herself to secrecy for the molly's sake.
They eventually became mates, adopting the occasional cat under their wings to guide them along their way.
RiverClan's assault on Hare plains gave Wolfspring the challenge she had been yearning for since the wolves had taken the territory hostage. Wolfspring watched as Meadowpool's former mate murdered her sons, much to her own horror. As Meadowpool retreated with their bodies, Wolfspring took the opportunity to return the favour, killing the tom without hesitation. Upon learning that Rowanbloom had witnessed the event, Wolfspring asked to keep the truth behind his killing a secret from her mother, uncertain as to how the molly would react.
