Coldstone RiverClan / Tomcat / Water Element / 25 moons old
Coldstone padded towards the stream, a sigh being let out. He missed being very close with Lavenderripple, but at least he still had Mottledstripe. As he went further down the river, he swore he saw two apprentices play fighting with each other. Oh, how he missed those days. He eventually went to sit down and near the stream, glancing at every corner as he did so. Coldstone had to make sure that nobody was around. Then a scent caught his attention. He could scent a water vole nearby, most likely looking for berries or something. He crouched into a low sneaking position and sniffed the air once more, trying to catch where the vole was. Then he found the water vole and got ready to pounce. However, he did not end up catching it as it caught whiff of his scent. "Gosh darn it." Coldstone muttered to himself, getting up onto his paws and going back to sit at the spot of the riverside he was sitting at.

Russetleaf was still getting used to having more free time on his paws. Not that he minded, of course - he’d love to spend a nice sunny morning by the river bend. It was still taking a bit of time to adjust, is all. If he wasn’t patrolling, he was training Otterpaw. If he wasn’t training Otterpaw... Well, he’d been a very busy cat in the last few moons, as was most of RiverClan. Blow after blow, the clan had suffered and most of them outside of their immediate control. But now, they didn’t have to worry about such things anymore - it was a new day for RiverClan and he intended to make the most of it.
He decided to take a stroll down by the stream after visiting Sandkit, wanting to sunbathe a bit before heading back to camp before he noticed Coldstone. He watched the older Tom tense and he stops in his tracks - he didn’t want to make him lose his prey, though it seemed as if it hadn’t mattered anyway as it scurried off into the undergrowth. He feels a twinge of sympathy, stepping out into the light. “I hope I’m not interrupting,” he says sheepishly. “I just thought you could use the company.”
