 A cold, that's all it was. Kittens got the sniffles all the time, right? Crowkit was certain of it. She felt fine enough to go outside, despite Daisybloom's pleas to remain in the nursery. Daisybloom wasn't even her mother. She just volunteered to help around in the nursery. Asides from age, the molly held no real authority over Crowkit. If she wanted to go outside for some fresh air, she wasn't going to let the calico stop her.
It was her life, after all. She wouldn't let anyone tell her how to live it. She stomped out of the nursery, her nose running and her fur a mess. The kitten already appeared sickly, having caught whatever was spreading through camp. You wouldn't catch Crowkit admitting that she didn't feel the greatest. In fact, Crowkit often refused to talk to anyone else asides from her brothers and father.
As if on cue, another cat approached her. She ruffled her fur and turned her head away. "I'm not going back inside!" She snapped, not giving them a chance to tell her what to do. Without warning, the small kitten broke down into a coughing fit, lashing her tail in annoyance once she'd finally stopped.

Duskflame had a runny nouse and an awful headache from the coughing she had done in her den. But she managed to walk and run and do many things still, even tough she felt really bad. And now she was out of the warrior den.
Her eyes fixed on a kit in the camp, who should have stayed in the nursery, they were Crowkit. Duskflame saw that Crowkit was not looking so good so Duskflame approached them. And after Crowkit had coughed Duskflame was starting to worry.
She sat down trying to look calm and understanding tough it was a bit hard for her. "I know, i wouldnt dare to try against your mighty will." Duskflame tried to joke sort of politely. "But you see, its pretty awful outside. You see, if i could id sleep the entire day i would but i cant, so you should enjoy that ya can, Right Crowkit?"
Duskflame was now crouched in front of the kit. She gave Crowkit a warm smile with worry that showed clearly.

Crowkit looked up at the dark tortoiseshell warrior, frowning as she spoke to her. "You don't get it! It's so hot and stuffy in there, and my dumb littermates won't stop sneezing on me!" She complained. "Do you know how hard it is to get their sneezey gunk out of my fur?" The kitten asked.
She licked her paw and ran it behind her ear a few times. "I'm stuck inside all day! I should be allowed to come out and play, even if it's bad outside, like when it rains. It's not fair!" Crowkit groaned.
She let out a sneeze, ruffling her fur as she did. Crowkit shivered for a moment, then shook out her pelt. "And no, I'm not sick. Something tickled my nose." NOTES ; n/a |

Duskflame sighed irritated.
"Hey, i bet you can ask a queen to lick that gunk off your pelt." She said. "And a little bath isnt all that bad." Duskflame tried her very best to keep calm over this small talk that she got herself into. "And no, i do not know, and dont want to." She chuckled.
"But thats one thing i know. Yes, You should be allowed outside, and yes you are allowed outside if you just ask premission, and i can guess that you havent. Well, when its bad outside and ya wanna go you should stay close to the nursery, like REALLY close." Duskflmae glanced at the nursery. She had a moment of wondering would this kitten miss her kit-hood when she grew?
"Thats what we all would like too hope for. Theres always thos cats who say: But im healthy! Would you say that...Lets say i was with a sick elder for...a few days, and i got unwell, Would i be sick? And also if they sneezed on me?" Duskflame asked as she placed her tail on the other side of Crowkit. She was hoping that Crowkit wouldnt argue back but she looked like she could and maybe would. Duskflame also didnt want to start bringing in how she could maybe a call a queen to take Crowkit back, and she didnt want to because maybe non would come and shed look like a mouse-brain.

The kitten lashed her tiny tail in annoyance. "I don't need mother's help to groom my fur. She's not gentle when grooming, I'm perfectly fine on my own." She said. "And you should be glad that you don't know how it feels. It's gross."
Crowkit rolled her eyes. "I shouldn't need to ask for permission to leave. It's not like I'm trying to run away and go outside of camp." She grumbled. "It's so cramped in there. And Brightkit almost set my tail on fire the other night!" She complained. "It smells like burnt fur and--" A sneeze cut off the remainder of her whining, followed by two more.
She pawed at her nose for a moment, still adamant that it was just itchy. "Yeah yeah, but I'm really not sick. I'd know if I was sick." NOTES ; n/a |

Duskflame kept was starting to get annoyed but she could handle a kitten..couldnt she? "I dont?" She started. "Ooooh- You think i havent been a kitten do you? I know how grooming feels, and your mother is trying her best to be gentle, belive me, i know." Duskflame said with the voice pitch of ´I know better then you´ showing more then she meant it to but too late now. "And i know that i am very lucky to have only my own gunk on my pelt."
Duskflame knew that Crowkit was right, in any other situation Duskflame would have let the kit go where ever she wanted to, but right now was a different story. "I know, i know. You should be let outside, but now its not the best time, because..." Duskflame tried to find a reason good enough for Crowkit to belive. "Because if you stay outside of the nursery its more likely for you to get sick like your littermates, yes, your littermates are also sick like the most of us, BUT out here there are more sick cats. And if its so bad there, then prehaps i can clean the den for you." She finished, hoping again that Crowkit would belive her.
Duskflame was filled with worry again. "If you arent already sick..so if your not sick, you should make sure you dont get anymore sick, alright? And...we all dont know were sick when we are, so if you are you wouldnt know for sure, so dont do too much, or you might-" Duskflame cut herself off before she could say anymore. This kit didnt need to worry about sickness that much, if they went in their den and stayed there everything would be alright, so she would just have to be patient, how wonderful.
