This is the official thread for Honeyfrost & Mothpaw vs their wolf. Only the respective roleplayers & staff can reply to this thread. The wolf does not care for turn-based combat rolls. It may attack between turns, or wait until after both cats have struck. The wolf will not attack until at least one roleplayer has responded. Its target will be selected via dice roll. Please wait until your attack has been rolled before posting a second attack. This is a team battle, please do not post more than twice without your partner's response. The wolves are significantly stronger than your warriors, they have more hp and their attacks have a higher damage cap. If you are uncertain as to how combat works, feel free to reference any previous battles that have taken place. Hare Plains & Splash Cove should still have their previous battle threads available for viewing. This event's battle managers are Jinx, Blaze and Thorne. This was it. The future of WindClan could very well come down to this battle and she refused to perish at the paws of these mutts. She had instructed Mothpaw to stay close to her, if nothing else, she could make sure that her apprentice was paying attention with her battle training.
Seeing the wolves approaching forced her fur to stand on end - little specks of ice formed at the bottom of her paws. She had to act. Raising a paw, she swiped it down again.

Part of Mothpaw prayed that Falconfall's warning was false, that he still had yet to be acclimatized to his new role. The molly didn't feel like she was ready to take on the wolves, but alas, there she was. Her hackles rose as she and her mentor were faced with one of the creatures, raising her tail in defiance as the wolf snarled. She would make her mother proud today, she'd make all of WindClan proud.
She couldn't do much with what she'd learned so far, but she was ready as she would ever be. Mothpaw froze some of the moisture in the air before her, pushing the small shards of ice towards the wolf's face.

Leaping out of the way just in the nick of time, Honeyfrost curls her lip in anger at the wolf. She keeps a close eye on her apprentice, ducking back towards her to place her paw near her own.

Ah, haredung! Mothpaw thought to herself. Why couldn't she get close enough to hit the damn thing? She tried again, her frustration visible. She had to make Honeyfrost and her family proud. She had to protect her Clan. She couldn't let them down, not when everyone's lives and the future of WindClan were currently at stake. It was all or nothing.
