In-depth Description: A black-and-white tuxedo-pattered tom with a black-speckled nose. He has pale yellow eyes and two dark reddish inner ears filled with short, stringy fur. The fur along his body is short and soft, and his tail ends with a white tip.

Personality description:
   
   Cedarmouse is a Quiet, Observant tom. It may not seem like it, but when he's feeling Protective or if he senses danger he gets hostile. He tends to be Suspicious of most, if not all unfamiliar cats and clanmates he does not know well. This has led to him always keeping an eye on the happenings around him. He can be very Patient when he needs to be, and cares about those he is close to or trusts more than himself. In other words, he is a Humble, Altruistic cat. He is also known to be thoughtful, and in result can be Pensive.



Likes:
   Silence, his family, being with his brother, those he trusts or is close to being happy or in a good mood, others making him laugh, his personal space, stalking things (especially prey)



Dislikes:
   Cats he does not know well or trust, ShadowClan Cats, large groups/crowds, loud noises, anything related to fire

History:

   Cedarmouse was born and raised in ThunderClan, alongside his adopted brother Newtglow. His father -smoke raised him, and spent most of his time with him and his brother since their mother died early in their lives. At first he found his younger brother's clingyness annoying, but after a while he started to feel glad that there was someone in his life that would always be at his side.
   He was eventually made an apprentice alongside Newtpaw, given -stalk as a mentor. His mentor, as most ThunderClan mentors were, was his complete opposite, and acted much like his brother. He felt a special connection to -stalk because of that. -stalk helped Cedarpaw open up a bit more, and helped him find a way to relax despite his high alertness.
   Cedarpaw had been around halfway into his apprenticeship when -stalk died. His mentor had been out on a patrol, like all warriors do, when his and a ShadowClan patrol got caught in a border scirmish that turned into fighting. His mentor ended up getting badly burnt by a fire elemental during this, and the Patrol backed off to rush the injured back to camp.
   Cedarpaw was distraught. He was one of the first cats to visit -stalk once they were well enough to have visitors. His mentor seemed to know something bad would happen soon, and told Cedarpaw, "Stay Strong, my friend; My dear apprentice. Don't forget what I taught you."
   -stalk died to infection a week later. Cedarpaw took their death hard, growing a hard shell that has never fully broken away and left him untrusting to the point of hostility. But Newtpaw was at his side the whole time. After half a moon, he realized this would've been far from what his mentor wanted. Newly modivated, he trained the next 3 moons under Shell-, Newtglow's mentor, and eventually passed his assessment alongside his brother.
   Cedarpaw recieved the name Cedarmouse partially after his own quietness and ability at stalking, as well as a hint to his late mentor's name. It took him a while longer than his brother to adjust to life as a warrior, but he got used to it eventually. He and Newtglow still remain very close, especially after their father's death.

   (TW- Forest Fire, Death) 5 Moons ago, two ShadowClan warriors set fire to ThunderClan's forests. He and his family had been hunting outside of camp the time it happened. Cedarmouse was lucky to have found his way back to his Clanmates rather quickly, but he later realized that his father had gone back to look for Newtglow. Once the fire started to die down he charged in to look for his brother and father, and eventually came across his brother. They returned to where the rest of ThunderClan were.
   Once they realized their father was dead, Cedarmouse vowed from then on that he would much rather try to save someone else's life than his own, finding the whole experience Humbling. He thinks about his father a lot, and reminds himself frequently about his wish of Altruism.
