History
History: Featherkit was born in Windclan on a warm new-leaf afternoon. Her father Blizzard- and mother Ember- were overjoyed when their kits were born, Acornkit was born first and had the element of Water, but were horrified when they realized that Featherkit had the element of Dark. They hid this fact from their clanmates, not willing to admit that one of their kits had the element of Dark, and told them that she had the element of fire. Eventually, they admitted that Featherkit's element was Dark and her clanmates disliked her, instead they placed their adoration upon Acornkit since she had a natural element. Featherkit was always jealous of the attention that Acornkit got from their clanmates and wished that her clans would accept her like they did Acornkit. When she was made an apprentice, Featherpaw's mentor was Snow-, who had the element of Fire, because of lack of Dark mentors in the clan. She was apprenticed to a Fire Elementalist because controlling fire took a lot of concentration just like controlling the element of Dark. Snow- treated Featherpaw badly, ignoring her when she required assistance, telling her to shut up when she asked a question, and smacking her for losing control or doing a move wrong. Eventually, Featherpaw was fed up with being abused and being ignored, running away from Windclan and ending up at Darkclan.
Darkclan accepted her for who she was and didn't discriminate her as Windclan had. They accepted her into their tight family of a clan and made her feel welcome. Fortunately, during her short time in Windclan, she had not begun the painful and dangerous process of consumption. She was given Tawny- as a mentor, Featherpaw was taught how to control her element and other important skills such as hunting and fighting. She felt happy living in her new clan, far away from the old one that had rejected her.
