Paws silently trailed over glowing sand, the sun blazing over the trail spun up as Swiftpetal ran along the beachside. Her eyes gazed towards the water, bright and gold and mocking the sun itself, while her smoked and mottled fur stuck out against the rays and either glowed or silhouetted, depending on how you looked at her. Suddenly, she skidded to a stop, paws landing on a shell and sending her tumbling to her backside with the item in her claws.
She laid there, still for a moment, before adjusting her grip as it nearly slipped from her grasp. Sand swirled around her for a moment longer before settling, and after a moment, she flung it towards the small pile she had growing. Maybe she could bring it back, or just leave it here for decoration. Either way, it was entertaining and a small smile went across her black and white face, before she quickly, but a bit poorly, shook the sand from her slightly damp pelt.

There generally wasn't much of a reason to patrol the beach, but it was always worth checking out all the same. Especially with food seeming to get harder to come by, the Representative had taken it upon themself to try their paw at fishing in the more turbulent waves.
Suffice to say, if they weren't already capable of breathing underwater, the clan would have been in need of a new leader.
In addition to that, they'd lost the fish they had managed to catch, and all they had was the prickly star-shaped thing.
But by Starclan they were done with that adventure for today.
It was a very sodden Watersong that finally began wading out of the ice-cold sea's grip, and they made a beeline for the small she-cat on the beach the moment they saw her.
Sparing a quick glance for the pile of shells the she-cat had collected, Watersong deposited their curious, but sadly not very tasty find next to them, before flopping down on the ground with little grace. The exhausted cat could have cared less at that point, their limbs shaking from the exertion of battling the waves.
"Could I trouble you to spare a bit of air? I was in there for so long I've forgotten what being dry feels like." ocenandebo YEET I'M HERE TO GET RIVERCLAN ACTIVITY GOING MY DUDES
