History
History: Willowkit was born the last and youngest of her litter, and was immediately neglected by her father for being born a female. At first, she didn't quite care; she looked up to her father and wanted to be like him for quite some time. But as she grew older, she began to notice how he treated Snakekit and Lightningkit better, while he didn't pay her any attention at all. When she tried to join on on the two's training, Tigerstripe would bat her away and and look at her like she were some sort of murderer. She also began to notice how he treated her mother, ignoring her presence and snapping at her when she interrupted the boy's training time to feed them. She decided that she would show him that she-cat weren't weak, that they could be just as strong as any tom and she told him exactly that. He, of course, laughed at her and paid her no mind.
When Willowkit became Willowpaw, she got to work on her vow. She trained as hard as she could with her mentor, Bat-, who trained her to the best of their ability. She often finished her camp duties first so that she could move on to training for the day. The leader became impressed with her determination and made her a warrior early, dubbing her Willowstripe, after her similar strengths to her father. She didn't quite appreciate the name, but she kept her mouth shut, giddy to prove her father wrong. After her ceremony, she marched right up to Tigerstripe and rubbed her success in his face. Instead of turning his aggression on her, the subject of his anger, he turned it on Snakepaw and Lightningpaw. She felt a surge of pride after Lightningpaw told their father off but was horrified when Tigerstripe struck her brother, leaving a scar on his muzzle. From then on, she cut all ties with her father, urging Snakepaw and Lightningpaw to do the same
Once her brothers became warriors, she felt the proudest she'd ever been in her life. She was glad that Lightningheart had begun to drift and eventually break away from their cruel father, but had noticed that Tigerstripe kept a firm hold on Snakepad. She felt no ill will towards either of them, knowing it was no one's fault that they were born to such a cruel and unjust tom, but she felt that he should at least fight to live his own life. She was glad to see him finally do so when Heatherstar rose to power, he was like a new cat, happier and livelier but became disappointed that he fell back into his old ways, when Tigerstripe caught him in his claws again. She hoped to help free her brother from their father's clutches, but that dream came crashing down after Snakepad was killed by the wolves flooding WindClan territory, with Lightningheart following soon after. She withdrew from most clan life, and looks to settle elsewhere. She’s done what she’s needed to do - perhaps it’s time for change.
