Rats That Strike
One deadly year ago, war spilled out over Redwood Forest. It was a simply a machine come to destroy the forest for wood and building area, but to the things living there, it was a monster beyond recognition. The hardest was for the mice. They left all their homes and food to travel and run. Before the forest was completely gone, plans to destroy it were canceled. The animals at last could rest. But the mice had changed.
Mice are smart. They're already trying to improve life for themselves, but the machine inspired them. With technology like that - or at least close to it - the mice would thrive without fear of hawks or natural disasters. They could build houses, study the technology, learn!
The mice's plan? Find the machine, study it, and bring back pieces to use it and build.
However, it's not that easy.
Shortly after the machine's destruction, another group of animals needed to move in with the mice, to the only available space left of the woods: rats.
Rats are not very nice to non-rats, and after hearing of the mice's plans to study the technology, the rats want the technology too. But not to share: they want it for themselves, and themselves only.
The question is: Will war break out over this technology? Can the mice keep it and keep studying it as planned, or will the rats interfere? It's up to you!
