*History: Willowkit was born to Dew- and Holly- of RiverClan, next to her littermate, Rainkit. The two were inseparable through kithood. Her parents quickly noticed that Willowkit wasn't like the other kittens in the nursery. She had tiny legs compared to the others! Worried that they would never grow, they spoke to the Clan's medicine cat. Soon, concern came to the representative. Eventually, they decided if Willowkit's legs never grew like they should, she wouldn't be able to hunt and fight like the other cats. They came to a decision that she was destined for the medicine den. Willowkit was too young to understand, but she was happy to learn how to help her clan through healing.

Once she was apprenticed, Willowpaw worked as hard as she could to prove to her Clan that she wasn't as helpless as they thought she was. She grew further from Rainpaw, sad to see her brother not spending as much time with her as they once did. Through her sadness, Willowpaw worked harder to learn as much as she could to help her Clan.

When her mentor, Mistyheart died, Willowpaw was absolutely devastated. It felt like she had lost a parent. Willowpaw was overwhelmed with the grief. Her brother, Rainpelt had tried to comfort her, but the she-cat couldn't overcome the loss. She went to the next half-moon meeting on her own. Willowpaw was given her full medicine cat name by her companions, Willowbranch.

Willowbranch, still struggling to get past the loss of her mentor, buries herself in her duties to try and take her mind off of it. She's incredibly insecure about her work and is worried that she isn't good enough to take care of her Clan on her own.
