Ashsong| 15 moons| RiverClan | Storm | Female
General Info
Previous Clan(s): WindClan
*Element: Storm
Sexuality: Gray-Heterosexual
Physical Appearance
*Brief Description: A pale mouse-brown tabby she-cat with thick and tufted fur
In-depth Description: Ashsong has to be one of the tallest members of RiverClan. Her mother, too, was a cat of giant proportions due to strong Maine Coon ancestry, forcing the storm-element to stick out in RiverClan like an even sorer thumb. Her fur only adds to this appearance, with its thick and spiked appearance. However, while somewhat frightening in her wake, Ashsong retains this elegance and beauty. She takes wonderful care of her pelt and believes in good hygiene habits, although she can really slack in this area when she's too focused on duties, which does seem to occur frequently. If it's between self-care and proving herself to her clan, she always seems to choose the latter.
The molly's legs are thick with trained muscle and notably lengthy, providing her with that incredible height. Not to mention, her body seems particularly long to match. Ashsong's head is semi-square shaped, but she's also noted for having high and defined cheekbones, giving her a slightly triangular face shape. Somewhere in between there. Her eyes tend to pop, with their rich yellow-green color that's notably strong around her pupils. Her whiskers are long and white, but also a little crooked and jagged. Her ears are yet to receive any notable damage, but they are tufted at the tips to match her long fur.
The color of Ashsong's coat has long been debated. Some argue that she's a pale mouse brown with hints of gray, and others a dull chocolate. Regardless, she's a classic tabby by appearance, and her unders hint of a strong cream color. This pale hue continues from her belly, to chest, and up onto her face, where it frames her eyes and makes them stand out.
Personality
*Trait lists: Traits must be distributed evenly and must not clash (A confident cat would not be cowardly!)
*+ Dutiful, well-respected, loyal, protective
*- Semi-antisocial, horrible workaholic, self-critical, blunt
*: Defensive, serious, intimidating, very sarcastic
Personality description: Ashsong is a difficult character, and not very typical of a molly. Most notably, she is very dutiful and loyal to her clan. The lengths she's willing to go in order to prove herself a worthy warrior is somewhat insane. Self-worth doesn't always cross her mind because she's a workaholic. Ashsong lives and breathes clan duties, and is almost always the first to volunteer for a patrol. Does she have a life? Why yes, yes of course, life is work and work is life. While she's still uncertain if RiverClan is her true home until she feels absolutely welcomed and respected, she continues to dedicate stupid amounts of time. Her willingness to prove herself a good warrior is what makes her well-respected, even if a skeptical few deem her a traitor for abandoning the birthclan that didn't welcome her. Not to mention, Ashsong is very serious about what she does. She leaves no room in life for stupid jokes that only waste time.
Because her nose is almost always shoved into clan duties, Ashsong is pretty antisocial. She's willing to have a conversation while working with clanmates or late at night when she's prohibited from leaving camp, but she isn't into the intimate stuff. It makes her feel uncomfortable, unless it's with someone she truly loves like family (such as her mentor). With how blunt and intimidating Ashsong can be, most avoid attempting to socialize with her anyways. Maybe it is a good choice, because when she finds her true home, she lives and breathes for that Clan. All outsiders? They will receive the very sarcastic and aggressive side of Ashsong, because naturally their clan is inferior. And she'll prove it with tooth-and-claw, too.
The molly has her reasons to be so defensive, being chased from her clan because of her storm element and all. She seems to almost always be on edge and prepared to defend herself from any personal attacks. Not to mention, she's very self-critical because of it. Call her picky, but Ashsong hates herself for what she is sometimes. Her only desire is to fit in and be recognized as one of the best warriors of her clan, so proving her worth to her home is critical, and she can't leave room for mistakes. This also makes her protective of the few cats she deems a friend, because she doesn't make those often. She'll shred ears for those cats.

History
*History: Ashkit was the oddball of her family from the get-go, and she immediately made her family nervous. Brushfire was particularly skeptical of her daughter, arguing with her cross-Clan mate, Ravenfoot, that their daughter was a bad omen, and that the relationship was a poor idea from the start. The father, on the otherhand, was much more appreciative of their daughter. In fact, his love for Brushfire had been false: it was all an experiment, and Ashkit was the desired outcome. Brushfire was the perfect mother because of her scrutinizing behavior, and the father understood that she'd give up any peculiar kittens. When the pair parted, Ravenfoot agreed to take Ashkit and Swankit to WindClan, while Brushfire would keep Ebonykit and Reedkit in ShadowClan with her. Two fire elements, nothing out of the unusual. But Ashkit...she had to go.
Ravenfoot adored his storm-element daughter, although he continued to spend time with his son, Swankit, as well. However, that never prevented Ashkit from sticking out. WindClan was skeptical of her and were ashamed of Ravenfoot for his act of betrayal. Nonetheless, the level-headed Clan wouldn't give up on a kit because it was unlawful to do so.
However, that didn't stop Ashpaw from receiving horrible treatment as an apprentice. The other apprentices within her Clan were horribly unfriendly and picked her as a target for their shenanigans. She grew uncomfortable, and as the jokes became worse, she began to fear for her life and desire a more suitable lifestyle. Meanwhile, at Gatherings, she learned of the other half of her family, and she immediately became best friends with her little sister, Reedpaw. The two began to dream of running away together, but knew that ThunderClan and DarkClan were absolutely out of the question. So, they set their sights on RiverClan.
Ravenfoot was outraged when he heard of their plan. Ashpaw had been his legacy, a gift from StarClan, and he did not want that stolen away. But that wouldn't stop her.
Unfortunately along the way, Reedpaw and Ashpaw ran into trouble. She was heartbroken when Reedpaw ended up drowning in an overflowing river, and Ashpaw's emotions and somewhat wild Storm element abilities only made the situation worse. To this day, she blames herself for Reedpaw's death. Ebonypaw, their brother, became especially hateful towards Ashpaw when he heard of the incident.
Once in RiverClan, Ashpaw took up training under their wise storm element, Wildspark. The two hit it off, and she began to see him as somewhat of a fatherly figure, and Starclan was he protective of her. He taught her to control her emotions and therefore her powers a little better, even if her storm element still acts a little out of hand. As a new warrior named Ashsong, she still struggles along, with WindClan deeming her a traitor and RiverClan still skeptical of her. As a result, she's dedicated towards proving her worth and loyalty to her new home.
