Sandwhisker | 26 moons | RiverClan | Earth | Female
General Info
Previous Clan(s): ThunderClan
*Element: Earth
Sexuality: Heterosexual (noted for fertility issues)
Physical Appearance
*Brief Description: Long-furred seal point she-cat with ice-colored eyes.
In-depth Description: The "earthy" color of her coat perfectly matches her personality. While her appearance is somewhat unique, Sandwhisker still appears to be just your everyday "average Joe". She is not tall, nor is she remarkably muscular or super skinny. She stands at an average height for her gender, perhaps appearing a tiny bit taller from occasion because of her longer fur. Her shoulders are what provide her most of her strength, hardened from days spent swimming and walking with a heavy, soaked coat. Her paws are short and stubby, leaving her with limited balance that her long tail has to compensate for. Thankfully, it appears that her toes are webbed, it can just be difficult to see through all that fluff.
Speaking of fluff, while Sandwhisker's fur is something nice to look at, it's sometimes her biggest enemy. RiverClan wasn't a wise choice for her, but she loves the atmosphere and sticks around regardless. Swimming leaves her long coat very heavy, and in the warm moons, it takes an eternity to dry. As such, she doesn't smell the greatest during these times, leading her to roll in mint to improve her stench. It's very embarrassing. However, the one trait Sandwhisker is able to pride over is the pale blue eyes she inherited because of her seal point pattern. These blue orbs are framed by a chocolate mask, a dark brown color that also appear on her feathered tail and limbs.
Personality
*+ Moralistic, generous, forgiving, friendly, gentle
*- Does not believe in the code, "lazy", naive
*: Mega religious, laid-back, between social and antisocial
Personality description: Sandwhisker, while just being your "average Joe", has somewhat of a...unique personality. For a start, she's very forgiving, noted for being generous to all cats. She manages to find good in just about everyone, making her very friendly, and the type of cat her clanmates try to force onto the newcomers. Sandwhisker is great at getting others to open up and spill all their secrets, her gentle approach makes it hard to deny her offerings of comfort. She's a good friend for anyone looking, and she won't hesitate to even befriend the monsters of the world.
However, there are a handful of...traits most cats deem very sketchy. For a start, Sandwhisker is strongly religious, she believes and worships StarClan like no other. However, she still has her major (and conflicting) downfalls. Sandwhisker does not follow the code. She deems it outdated and something that needs to be condensed and then completely rewritten. Instead of following it, she follows her heart and her morals. Sandwhisker strongly pushes the idea that StarClan should be worshiped, not the code. Because of this, some cats like to deem her as lazy. While Sandwhisker does like to take advantage of shortcuts, she's more laid-back than anything else. The warrior loves to take her time and absorb every detail in the world and in a moment before she's off to StarClan some day.
Falling somewhere between social and anti-social, Sandwhisker does enjoy conversation, but doesn't always actively seek it out. She does enjoy peace and quiet to reflect upon her day, but she also enjoys making new friends and aiding others in feeling better. Unfortunately, Sandwhisker is pretty naive. Work a little on developing a friendship, sprinkle in some mentions of StarClan, and she can believe just about anything.

*History: Life was a rough start for Sandkit. Unfortunately, her parents had their differences, and those eventually overwhelmed the love they once shared. Her mother loved the code and stuck to it very closely, but lacked any faith in StarClan. Her father, on the other hand, loved StarClan. He lived for them, but argued with his mate that the code needed to be rewritten and updated to match recent times. Eventually, their fighting lead the two to split while Sandkit and her littermates were still in the nursery.
Sandkit's father was originally from RiverClan, and her mother a warrior of ThunderClan. After her mother fought with her father, Sandkit grew closer to her sire, and farther from her mother. She learned about the wonders of StarClan, and eagerly listened to his stories every night. However, by the time she was a 'paw, her father passed away. This lead for the young apprentice to remove herself from ThunderClan, uninterested in starting squabbles with her mother. Instead, she relocated to RiverClan, where her father had been born.
Sandpaw continued her training there, and has loved RiverClan ever since. While she blends in with others, and is often forgotten, she doesn't mind it. She loves the peacefulness and sound of the river. However, her bad days weren't over yet.
At the age of 19 moons, Sandwhisker met Coyotegaze, and the two fell in love. However, he wanted kittens with her more than anything else, as he had lost his family and siblings when he was very young. Disaster struck, and for whatever reason, Sandwhisker failed to carry kittens past a few weeks. She was deemed to have fertility issues, and Coyotegaze left her for it.
While still feeling broken, she continues to try to stand strong for her clanmates. Recently, she's been forced onto Ashsong, as her clanmates want her to make a "friend" out of the prickly she-cat. Really, they just want to know her secrets and if she's a threat or not.
Sandwhisker ends up meeting WindClanner Beetlerunner by the border, and deveolops a relationship with him while RiverClan and WindClan are at odds. She is later surprised to learn that she's pregnant, and what more, gives birth to the Valley's first ever light element.
