This is the official thread for Ravenstar vs Lynxstar. Only the respective roleplayers can reply to this thread. This is an equal skill battle, meaning there are no nerfs to either character. They will be fighting at full power. Basic attacks for each character do a maximum of 15 damage, a minimum of 1. Once the characters have begun to fight, it will be a turn based system. Ex. Lynxstar attacks -> Attack will be rolled -> Ravenstar attacks -> Attack will be rolled. Please avoid posting before the attack has been rolled. This event's battle managers are Jinx and Thorne. Lynxstar sat at the very top of Oak Hill, his tail lightly tapping the ground behind him. He could see Ravenstar's patrol from here, they were all equally matched. He spotted a few vaguely familiar faces within the group as well as a few he didn't recognize, old and new. His own patrol was positioned a little ways away from where he sat, hidden among the trees and ground, as he instructed them to. They had their orders, once he lured them to their spot, they were to split up Ravenstar's patrol and bring them down, one by one. Then, once they were subdued, demand his own warriors back from her twisted "Clan". It wouldn't be long now, her patrol had almost arrived. He narrowed his eyes. Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run ####  Ravenstar had brought the majority of her Clan on her patrol. She knew better than to think that bringing a small patrol would end well. Part of her had hoped Lynxstar did indeed have her warriors. She needed her deputy now more than ever. But Ravenstar knew better than to not be ready for things to go wrong. They were Dark Elementals walking into the heart of ThunderClan territory after all.
When Lynxstar spoke, Ravenstar narrowed her eyes. "I don't see my warriors among you. I want them back, now. You remember our terms, don't you?" She had promised him a fight if he didn't return her warriors. She needed to let him know that she wasn't throwing around empty threats at him. He needed to know that DarkClan would not be manipulated so easily.

Thorne"Ah, yes. Straight to the point, as always. Of course, I remember, Ravenstar, I am not that old." he said, getting to his paws. It wouldn't be long now. He waved his tail and turned away, casting a glance over his shoulder as he walked away. "Well, then, let us get going. I would rather not take all night, if you do not mind. he said, trotting away before slowing his gait to a walk. They walked along in silence for a few moments before he spoke again, "Ravenstar, you are aware that Thunderclan does not take lightly to threats, correct? Any enemy to Thunderclan's wellbeing is an enemy that must be dealt with swiftly and accordingly." He stopped, turning to face the black she-cat. "You understand, of course, do you not? I merely bring this up because, if memory serves me correctly, I sent my own patrol to Five Stones as well, yet both patrols were missing. Very peculiar, don't you think?" he mewed. "What I mean to say is, I lost my own warriors, Ravenstar. Missing warriors means a threat has shown itself for what it truly is, therefore, it must be defeated before it threatens Thunderclan again." He stared Ravenstar in the eye, looming over the younger leader while roots began to sprout around his paws. "This is why I brought you here, Ravenstar. To deal with swiftly, just as you have with my own warriors. I know what Dark Elementals are capable of, I've seen it first paw. I can see through your lies, Ravenstar, and I won't allow you to get away with this!" he said, while preparing Rock Shower, before raising his muzzle to the sky. "Thunderclan attack!!"

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run #### Ravenstar listened in amusement as Lynxstar gave his speech. She lashed her tail from side to side as he went on about ThunderClan and all it's glory. She essentially tuned out, having heard these speeches from his jaws countless times before. She wasn't interested in him explaining how his plan was genious, how he was doing all of this for ThunderClan's safety. If he was doing this for ThunderClan's safety, he would have known not to try and fight a Clan of dark elementals when the sun was almost below the mountain's peaks. Soon, she would have the advantage over him. All of her cats would. "You'll pay for this, Lynxstar. I'll make sure you will regret this!" She hissed. "DarkClan, battle positions!"
Ravenstar saw as Lynxstar hurled a stone at her, but it was too late. She hissed in annoyance as the stone scratched across her muzzle. She'd felt far worse before. The dark she-cat prepared a ball of dark energy before sending it towards Lynxstar.

ThorneLynxstar spat a curse when he saw his Rock Shower wasn't as effective as he'd hoped. He looked around him growling when he realized there wasn't much he could do with Rock Shower to begin with. He should've been more attentive. Lynxstar realized too late that Ravenstar had prepared her own attack, letting out a grunt as it hit his body. He skidded to a stop not too far away from the Darkclan leader, lashing his tail as he bared his teeth. "I doubt that, Ravenstar, but come what may." he growled before pounding his paw against the ground, making a pillar of earth come up between the two. With a grunt, he sent it toward Ravenstar, a feral growl ripping itself from his throat. Even if this attack missed, he would still have some ammunition against her. He was sure he could take her down (Lynxstar uses Erupt)

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run #### Ravenstar flicked an ear as he spoke. As the she-cat went to open her mouth, she watched as a stone pillar had been sent her way. She quickly lept away, just barely dodging the attack. That was far too close for comfort. She figured now would be best to use her mastery while she was still at full strength. She would get more use out of it now isntead of a last resort anyways. Ravenstar glared at him as she began to channel as much dark energy that she could muster in one go. "Then so be it." Her voice seemed to echo slightly as darkness began to surround her.
Suddenly, 8 shadow copies of herself appeared in a circle around Lynxstar. Dark energy pulsed and radiated around them, awaiting for Ravenstar's mental signal to launch themselves at him. She lifted her chin and smirked as they charged, crashing into him. That best leave a mark. If we’re all just cynics come undone |

ThorneLynxstar looked around wildly as dark clones began to surround him. He gave one last glare to Ravenstar before they began to crash into him. He grunted once he felt their corporeal forms crash into his body, opening wounds and leaving bruises. Once he saw the clones disappear, he shook his coat, grateful that it blocked at least a bit of the damage done to him. He let out a sound, not quite a growl but not a mere hum either. He willed the plants around him to grow to heights they never reached before and wrap around Ravenstar's form. Maybe you'll learn after this, he thought. (Lynxstar uses Stranglethorns)

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run #### Ravenstar grinned as her shadow clones did a nice chunk of damage to Lynxstar. That would prove to give her the advantage in the fight. He was already weakened significantly compared to her. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw the vines and tendrils rush towards her. She didn't have time to avoid them. She was trapped with throrns scraping her on all sides. They wrapped around her tightly. Great StarClan! She thought.
Ravenstar's eyes fell on the shadows close to Lynxstar. He could hurt her easily when she couldn't move, but she still had a few tricks. She tried casting siphon in hopes to regain some healing while she was stuck in the plants.
