Thorne Lynxstar winced as Ravenstar's dark powers latched onto his pelt, taking his energy from him and making her grow stronger. He gave a quiet snarl, looking at the she-cat with disdain. 'If this continues, I shall have to retreat and then, I will never hear the end of it from Briarsong or Sagewhisker! he thought. He looked to the sky, noting that it'd gotten darker than he remembered. 'I must go harder. Let us see if her shadows can help her through solid wood!He focused his energies, willing the wood of the trees to wrap around his pelt, as if it were a shield. He looked over to Ravenstar, using his remaining rocks from his Pillar to circle around her. "See if you can take this!" he yowled before sending them towards her. (Lynxstar uses Strengthen and Rock Shower)

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run ####  Ravenstar hissed in pain as the rocks scraped her skin, her ears twitching and her tail lashing furiously. Imagine needing to use something that already exists to attack someone. The earth element is pathetic. Lynxstar has proven this already. DarkClan will show him the power of creation. She jumped away as the attack ended. Her blue eyes adjusted with ease to the sun dipping past the mountain peaks, rendering the forest dark. Stars began to show clearly through the buds on the trees. DarkClan had the advantage now. She could see him clear as day. This was just the advantage they needed. "Afraid of the dark, Lynxstar?" She taunted, lashing her tail before throwing another ball of dark energy at him.

ThorneLynxstar gave a snarl at the molly's taunt, letting out an "oof!" her ball of darkness slammed into him, tossing him some foxlengths away. He steadily got to his paws, though his stance was weak. His throat burned with the need to cough, though his face remained stone cold with hatred. "You... you still do not get it, do you, Ravenstar?" he said, breathless. An eerie smile grace his muzzle, his eyes wide with barbarous glee. "Is it not clear, or is your mind so riddled in the darkness you seem so fond of you can't bear to think of that possibility?"His claws sunk into the ground, tail waved wildly behind him. Stone rose before him, circling him until the only thing seen were his glowing golden eyes. Roots began to spring out of the ground, grasping for something to wrap around and squeeze. "You shall meet the same fate my own warriors have met during your little "peace talk"." he spat the word as if it were venom. " And if they are still alive, you will return my warriors, Ravenstar, if you have not perverted them to your own Dark ways!" he snarled as the vines shot towards the she cat.

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run #### Ravenstar watched as vines were launched towards her. She quickly lept to the side, lashing her tail and grinning for a moment. She could see how weak she had rendered Lynxstar. A few more hits and then...
And then what?
Ravenstar shook away the thoughts. She hadn't felt something like that in moons. Not since her run in with corruption. Why did her mind begin to think like that again? She bit her tongue to avoid thinking of it. She wouldn't prove anyone right. No way in the Dark Forest.
"Bold words for a cat who can't seem to land a hit." She sneered. Ravenstar flicked her ear. "I wouldn't want your filth in my Clan anyways. ThunderClan never changed. Please, let my brother know I hate him. Tell my mother how much of a disgrace I've become. Tell all of ThunderClan what kind of monster I am." She hissed.
"By StarClan you best pray. I speak for them and I fight with all the wrath of DarkClan. You'll regret starting this!" Shadows and dark energy surrounded the molly. She launched another ball of dark energy before prepping a jump to the shadows.

ThorneLynxstar supressed a wince as Ravenstar sent her Dark powers towards him, digging his claws into the ground before it sent him flying again. He sent an angry glare her way, hissing and spitting at her as she disappeared into the shadows. "It is because all you Dark elementals know how to do is hide and avoid the inevitable! Come out and face me like a real warrior, coward!" he snarled into the darkness, though he knew he was on his last legs. He refused to back down, however. He'd prove to these foxhearts that the balance of life was not to be trifled with. He reared back and came crashing down onto the ground, satisfied as he came down with a thud and rocks began to break through the ground. He decided to grow a few plants as well, to be prepared. He underestimated this she-cat, he would admit that. He would not admit however, that he was close to losing a life. 'Let Ravenstar reap the repercussions. it shall be her own fault, I am doing Starclan's work,' he thought. "I will do no such thing! They are well aware of the blemish on their family tree you have become! Ravenstar, leader of nothing more than a band of Dark Elementals" he sneered. Lynxstar uses Erupt and Bloom!

Ravenstar knew well to expect him to go on the defensive after he had done that. She needed to end the fight quickly. She would quit it with the pleasantries. It was time to end it. Ravenstar launched another ball of dark energy before charging up another Fade.

Lynxstar could feel himself growing weak. He legs could barely hold his weight, his sight was beginning to blur.
He had a pit in his stomach that he hadn't felt since he was a kit.
But he had to push on! If he lost a life, so be it. He still had 8 more he could dedicate to bringing her down. He snarled as he used his growth as a shield and send a barrage of rocks towards her.

Only time will tell if we’re all just cynics on the run #### Ravenstar grinned when she saw Lynxstar was struggling to keep himself on his paws. This battle was over. The rocks had caught her by surprise, one slicing her face close her her eye, and another to the chest, others had hit elsewhere. He wasn't giving up. She watched as he pulled earth and bark from the ground to shield himself. The ground won't save you from the inevitable, you old fool. She thought bitterly.
The dark grey she-cat used Fade and jumped to another location behind him. She summoned all her strength and energy into a singular attack, creating a large ball of dark energy and launched it at Lynxstar. Void was used to it's full potential by the she-cat, letting out all the pent up energy and anger into the attack. She watched as it collided with the tom, breaking the shield upon impact and hit him at relative full force. Nothing could have saved him from that.
