Racconstrike was already on edge when he'd been chosen to take part of the patrol to take back his clanmates from Thunderclan territory, he couldn't handle a battle to go with the stress. He'd tried to make a few lighthearted jokes on the way to Oak Hill, but they were met with either confused looks or complete silence. Usually both. He didn't want let to let down Ravenstar, she'd done so much for him and his siblings that he couldn't bare the thought of it.

He knew that Lynxstar was an iffy guy, every cat in the Five Cats knew that for a fact. If Raccoonstrike was being honest, he didn't entirely believe that he had his missing clanmates. But if he didn't have them, where else could they be? They wouldn't leave the Clans, he knew that for a fact, his clanmates were loyal, if nothing else. He prayed to Starclan that they weren't dead.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when all chaos broke loose around him. So this was a trap! he thought. He crouched down in a defensive stance, staring down the warrior in front of him. "How long have you foxhearts been planning this, huh?!" he growled out, summoning Copycat.
