One of the first things we will have to get done are high ranks. Please read all the info in this thread if you are interested in applying.
To apply, please copy the below code and fill it out in a reply to this thread...
Clan - Desired position - Cat name - @username My character would be interesting in this position because: (Some plot ideas, what they can bring to the plot etc)
As well as take the application from this thread and fill it out as if your character is already the high rank position you desire.
Last of all, write an adequate roleplay example as the character if they had the high position you are applying for. Please put effort in this! However, we ask that you don't go over 500 words, a bit over is acceptable.
I personally would recommend looking through the clan info thread before applying, just so you have an idea on how each clan functions.
Each member can only have two positions, we ask that you only apply for two.
The following positions are open:
Thunderclan Deputy Apprentice
Shadowclan N/A
Darkclan Head Queen
Riverclan N/A
Windclan Medicine Cat
Please note that the application you send on here will most likely not be the final version of your cat's application, and that edits and tweaks will most likely be made to accomodate certain details.
Feel free to PM Thorne for any questions.

Darkclan – Medicine Cat - Spiderface - Blaze My character would be interesting in this position because: Spiderface isn't above belittling those who irritate him, including clan leaders and he will often have no hesitation in telling other cats who he does and doesn't like. He knows exactly where his loyalties lie and his obedience strictly limited to individuals who he respects. He does has a sense of empathy and mortality and will often be the first cat to comfort someone who's lost anyone close to them. He cares greatly for the wellbeing of his clanmates, physically and mentally, even if he doesn't like showing it. “Spiderface!” The gray tom's eyes opened for a heartbeat to see who could possibly be calling for him during the middle of Silverpelt before he closed them tightly and rolled over to his side, pointedly ignoring the frazzled warrior. “Hawkstorm,” he rumbled out. The light brown tom had been anxious for the past moon, ever since he'd been informed that he was siring Tawnystripe's kits. He been glowing with pride ever since and had become a frequent visitor to the medicine den, always worrying his whiskers off over the slightest thing that had to do with her pregnancy. It was annoying, but he couldn't really judge. He held back a sigh when he realized it was no use to try and go back to sleep, not with Hawkstorm's frantic mewing and resigned himself to a long night as he gingerly made his way over to his herb store. “What brings you to the medicine den so late at night?” he asked, beginning to gather coltsfoot and comfery root into a beech leaf. “It's Tawnystripe! She might be kitting, I think you should come take a look!” he yowled with urgency. Spiderface surpressed his surprise as he began gathering fennel, juniper berries and raspberries into the leaf, picking up the combination and bursting into a run into the nursery. He set the herbs down as he examined the golden queen. She definitely showed the signs of the beginning of birth, so he quickly got to work. He picked up a few raspberry leaves and pushed them towards her muzzle. “Eat these, they'll help with the pain,” he instructed. Tawnystripe obediently swallowed the berries before her face scrunched up again as another wave of pain hit her. He turned to Hawkstorm, who'd been standing outside the nursery, looking panicked. “Make yourself useful and go get a stick for her to bite down on, as well as some fresh kill. And tell Cedarfall and Blizzardstrike bring wet moss, she'll need it,” he said. Hawkstorm quickly bounded away, leaving Spiderface and Tawnystripe alone. He pulled his herbs closer towards him and picked up the comfery root, chewing it while he pushed a juniper berry towards her. “Do you think you can swallow this?' he asked calmly. Tawnystripe nodded jerkily as her breathing started to become heavier. She quickly swallowed the berry, before she yowled in pain. “Please make it stop,” she whimpered. “It'll be over soon, I promise,” he replied. He fed her the comfrey root and looked up, just as Hawkstorm trotted back up, as well as Cedarfall and Blizzardstrike with exactly what he'd asked for. “Set the moss down around her and give her the stick,” he motioned with his tail. “But don't crowd her, she'll get stressed.” Blizzardstrike took the moss and set it down around the golden queen while Hawkstorm set the stick near Tawnystripe's muzzle. Cedarfall waited until the other two warriors had backed away before he set the freshkill down near her body, backing away as quickly as he came. “Ok, Tawnystripe,” he began, “I'm going to need for you to start pushing. Can you do that for me?” Tawnystripe fearfully nodded, taking a deep breath before she yowled loudly. “Once more.” Another scream, and a kit had finally been born. He nipped the sac before he began licking the kit the wrong way and setting it beside its mother's belly. “Lick the fur the wrong way to warm it up. One more kit, Tawnystripe, you'll be done after this.” Soon afterwards, the small kit was born. He repeated the process with the last kit and set it beside her mother. Tawnystripe's eyes glistened with tears, as she looked down at the two bundles of fur that were suckling from her belly. Hawkstorm nervously padded in a few heartbeats later, a look of awe on his face. Spiderface looked over at the tom, a rare smile gracing his muzzle. “Congratulations. A tom and a she-cat, both twins.” he said quietly. Hawkstorm didn't reply, instead sitting down near his mate and looking down at his kits with pride. Tawnystripe replied for him, “Thank you, Spiderface.” Spiderface nodded respectfully. “I'll be back in the morning to check on the kits. Make sure drink from the moss and eat the freshkill.” He began gathering the remaining herbs and started to leave, as he felt he was intruding on a family moment. “Welcome to Darkclan, you two,” he mewed as he left.

Could be changed depending on the response I get to a question! Riverclan - Representative - WaterSong - watersong WaterSong is, by nature, a very go-with-the-flow sort of cat, rather apt for someone attempting to represent the values of RiverClan. Due to their lack of developed genitalia, both internally and externally, their body did not develop male nor female secondary sex characteristics, leaving them not quite either, and yet, in turn, a better representative of both than any other cat could be, seeing both sides better than any regular cat could. Neither are they from the clans by birth, though they were raised by them. Born to a Loner who passed shortly after all her kits births, WaterSong was the only survivor, and taken in by RiverClan, because no kit should be left to die. Raised in the clans and knowing the clans all their life, they are also not truly of the clans, seeing both sides than any regular cat could. They are water, they reach into every crevice, every crack, every nook and cranny and look within. The water seeps outwards in all directions without judgement, without preference, and spreads to both sides of the battlefield in equal turn. Who better to represent water, that which cannot be contained to one side or the other, than one who is born to both sides and neither at the same time? RP Sample:The night was dark, but it was filled with stars. It was an especially dark night tonight, with the moon not hung in the sky. For the past nights it had withered further and further till it was but a clawscratch in the dark, and tonight, it had bowed out from the heavens, to begin its return the following night. Its absence meant that Silverpelt shone all the brighter in the dark, but it was not to here that pale grey eyes looked. Near the edge of Riverclan territory, on the border that led to the unclaimed wilderness, a lone cat sat looking up to the stars, their long tail still and their body scarcely moving but for the slight expansion of their chest as they breathed. The wind was silent tonight, and the cat looked to all the world like a statue but for breath that condensed as faint steam before them. Their eyes were fixated on a distant star, not one that rested in the swathe of Silverpelt, but a faint star lost in the dark expanse of the sky. Twolegs might not be able to see it, and even to the lone cat, its shine was faint. But their eyes rested on it all the same, and the night was quiet as they watched in silent reverie. Then, a quiet voice echoed in the silence, but it did not disturb it as the cat slowly lay down on their belly, a small smile reaching up to their eyes. "Hi mom, I'm sorry I haven't gotten the chance to talk to you lately. Life's been busy, as it always is, but especially so lately. You remember those other cats I told you about, the ones who ran like rabbits across the plains? I'm not sure why, but the others wanted to lay claim to one of their plains. Like I said, I don't know why, as I don't think all our skill in swimming will be much use in catching rabbits, but I was outnumbered, and after all, Riverclan lives by democracy. I also don't know why they always insist on causing such violence with out neighbors, but again, that just seems to be the way things are here." "You know what I mean, right mom? It's just the way us Loners are, not out to hurt anyone, not out to always steal, just live and let others be. Riverclan is doing alright, and the rivers are always full of fish, but clan cats always seem to want more." The cat's voice trailed off with a heavy sigh as they laid their head upon crossed paws. Pale eyes left the faint star to look at the ground as soft resignation found its place on their face. The cat looked back up to the star after a moment, head still laid down upon the ground. "It's hard, sometimes. I try to go with the flow, and to follow the voice of the people. After all, that's what Riverclan, and water itself, is all about. But I'm only a cat. I do get why they want it too. I know I said I didn't, but I really do. They're worried. Even if they don't admit it, we don't know what'll happen in the future, and the more hunting grounds we have, the more food we can have whenever something might happen. It sure doesn't help that Windclan never seems to be much for fighting." "But all the same, why can't we just cross that bridge when we get to it? Why do we have to be so violent and always bringing harm to others when there's no reason to? We're not starving, we're not..." Their voice faded away again, and grey ears wilted some as the cat tried to fight the tightness in their throat. They were quiet for a moment, but then they seemed to almost shake themselves from their reverie, lifting their head from their paws and recrossing their paws, though they stayed laying down. Their voice was infused with a tired enthusiasm as they flicked their tail lightly. "But it's not all bad. I saw a baby finch the other day. It took it a little while to figure out how to fly, but it got there eventually, and the mom was so proud. They never even knew I was there, but that was alright, I only wanted to watch. Also, I found a dead dragonfly the other day. I know, I know, why is that interesting? But it was completely intact, and the wings were so pretty. They had the coolest black pattern where they connected to the body, and it was an incredible find. Normally when I find cool bugs, they're either alive or unrecognizable, so that just made my day." The cat continued to talk quietly throughout the night, recounting stories of their clanmates and of the neat things they had seen. As moonhigh came and went, though without a moon to mark the time, the cat's head began to grow heavy, and their stories were more yawns than words as they finally lay their head back down. They continued whispering quietly as their eyes drifted shut, before their voice was quiet and they seemed to be asleep. Then they spoke up one more time, a hushed whisper. "Will you sing to me?" No more was said after that as the cat drifted off to sleep. But if one listened hard enough, one could almost think to hear a quiet song that echoed around the sleeping cat, and sang them to sleep. I will always love you.

Shadowclan - Medicine Cat - Sunheart - sunheart He is a ball of sunshine and love and I think Shadowclan could really use some of that. They're very good at being fire that burns, but I think they could chance to do with a bit of light that just shines as well. No pain and murder here, JUST ENDLESS LOVE. A big friendly boy who knows what he's doing, but might need an apprentice to make sure he actually does gather all the herbs he needs, rather than run off chasing clouds. RP Sample:A brown blur was tearing through the forest, paws pounding against the ground as a chocolate-colored streak could scarcely be seen before it was gone. Aw Dark Forest, he'd forgotten to get more borage leaves again. He'd gotten the burdock root, which admittedly had been a step in the right direction, as -paw's tail was only getting more swollen by the day, but -eye's kit was still in a terrible fever, and all the water in the world couldn't keep an uncontrolled fever at bay. What they really needed was feverfew, but the patch he normally used had been scarcely there when he checked this morning, and he hadn't had time to go check the patch by the river to see if it was holding together. Or, well, he had, but he'd seen a bird instead and well at least the clan had more food now? That was good, right? The brown tom's chest was heaving as he ran, eyes wide and legs almost beginning to shake as he sprinted with all the speed he had in him to try and get clear across the clan's territory to get borage leaves and then turn around and run back. Why did it have to be the one plant that was as physically far away from camp as it possibly could be? A yowl of frustration and complaint could be heard echoing through the trees as the tom pouted.

Thunderclan - Leader - Lynxstar - Blaze My character would be interesting in this position because: I believe Lynxstar is the perfect definition of what a Thunderclan leader should be. He's very concieted and full of himself. He views himself as a gift from Starclan. He believes that Darkclan should be disbanded and banished for goig against the four clans and would chase Darkclan out of clan territory himself if it didn't damage his reputation.
Lynxstar leapt onto the High Rock, his large head held high as he looked down at his clan bustling with life below. He lifted his muzzle to the sky and parted his jaws as he yowled, “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the High Rock for a Clan Meeting!” Thunderclan cats lifted their heads to meet Lynxstar's gaze, warriors rushing to get as close as possible to the high rock, apprentices chattering excitedly as guessed tried to guess what the large leader had to say, queens grooming their kits to get them ready for the upcoming ceremony and elders grumbling as they slowly made their way out of their den. Lynxstar waited until the noise died down before he spoke again, gingerly sitting on his haunches with his tail wrapped around his paws. “There are two things I wish to do today. We all know of Shadowclan's recent misdoing, setting half of Thunderclan territory on fire and putting much stress upon our growth patrol. May Starclan prevent any bloodshed to happen in the future, but if the time comes that we must meet Shadowclan in battle then we must train as many warriors as we can. Which is why it is time to appoint two new apprentices.” He turned his bright amber gaze upon two kits. “Falconkit, Batkit, step forward,” he said. He watched the two kits' eyes brighten as they rushed forward through the crowd of warriors, stumbling over tails and their own paws. His whiskers twitched with amusement as they looked down in embarrassment. He leapt down from the High Rock and padded up to the kits. “You have reached the age of six moons old and are now ready to become an apprentice.” He first turned to Falconkit, raking his eyes over his thick tom's features. “Falconkit, from this day onward until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Falconpaw.” He looked over the crowd, nodding in satisfaction once he met a certain warrior's gaze. “Antnose, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You will mentor Falconpaw and I expect you to teach him the ways of Thunderclan.” He watched Falconpaw trot up to Antnose, touching muzzles. He turned to Batkit, his intense gaze making the she-kit flinch in surprise. “Batkit, from this day onward until you receive your warrior name, you will known as Batpaw.” He looked up, nodding towards another warrior. “Hornetwing, you've trained many apprentices, I trust you will be able to pass on your wisdom to Batpaw as well.” He waited until the two touched noses before he spoke again. “Falconpaw, Batpaw, I welcome you as apprentices of Thunderclan. May you learn to serve your clan well.” he said, as the clan called the siblings' new names. “Falconpaw! Batpaw!”

WindClan - Deputy - Stormchaser - 20mia08---------------------------------------------------- ((I'll also need a brief summary of what's occurred in Windclan, from whomever is willing!)) I find my character to be an interesting deputy contestant because he isn't your typical character, and certainly not your perfect Windclan cat. He is a flawed tom who had undergone many transformations throughout his life, leaving him as a stronger and more dependable warrior. He would be a perfect role model for apprentices, and an unexpected deputy. But why him? Easy: Stormchaser always longs to prove himself to his clan through diplomatic attempts and all-inclusive activities. It is his wish to not only improve himself, but all of Windclan. ---------------------------------------------------- He was such an unlikely choice for deputy, why did Heatherstar select him? Taking in a deep breath before swallowing whatever nerves continued to nag at him with their frets, the new deputy took a small step forward, absorbing the sounds of his clanmates cheering his name. Their calls rang out in his ears and echoed in his heart, and a feeling of warmth slowly began to flow through his veins. Windclan...it was his home. These cats around him-- they were his family now, not those monsters that had reared him so many moons ago. And his brother... ...the thought of his littermate caused Stormchaser to squeeze his eyes shut, as if attempting to block the demons from his secrets. Shaded- was dead, and he couldn't change that now, nor could he have done anything to save the young tom. All Stormchaser could do now was live up to what his brother had hoped for him, and make him proud before joining him in Starclan as an honorable warrior. Would he be a perfect deputy? No. Nobody could be. But that would never keep him from trying his hardest. As the crowd began to disappear, the deputy remained still as a statue, taking in a deep breath before preparing to start his day. His first patrol would be vital to the clan, they would look up to him now for protection and guidance. It was something he did all the time, was it not? He lived to help improve his clanmates, to build them up when they felt down, to make them as strong as possible. Life now would be no different- he just had a fancy title attached to it all. Raising his chin, he called the name of a few warriors. "Fallowbird, Feathersong, Pigeonflight, and Dewpaw-- you four will be taking out a hunting patrol. May StarClan light your path, and may you bring back a fruitful amount of prey for our elders and queens."

WindClan - Deputy - Snakepad - @lionhearted My character would be interesting in this position because: This WindClan tom is a dutiful and well-mannered warrior who’s struggled to find his own path all his life. That is, until he saved his adopted son Sorrelkit from a vicious fox. Now he spends his time learning how to be a good parent, all the while discovering more about himself every day. One question lingers in his mind, however; will he become the cat his father always wanted him to be or will he find his own way?
I think he would make for a good deputy because he already exhibits all the desirable traits one would like to see in a warrior and future leader. He is already a very talented fighter and hunter and works extremely hard to provide for WindClan. His father, Tigerstripe, is also a strong cat and would presumably be well-known, as would himself, Snakepad. Without knowing his background, one could see that Snakepad is a valuable member of the community.
A personal plot is being advertised, hopefully to play out soon; Snakepad will learn to grow and become independent through raising Sorrelkit, and I think being deputy would be a perfect parallel to this. We could see Snakepad evolve from being hesitant and tentative at first in his new leadership position to taking steps to becoming a very strong person of authority.
--
Roleplay example:
Snakepad cleared his throat as he gazed around the camp. His paws trembled a bit, and there was a strange fluttering in his chest. His brows furrowed as he took in the vacancy of the area, realizing that he was the only one up. He tilted his head; not even the sun was fully in the sky yet.
Huh.
The tom was puzzled over why he felt it was so unusual; he was more than used to getting up before dawn, he had done it since he was a young 'paw. Tigerstripe would force him up from his slumber-- dragging him out if needed-- and by now Snakepad's circadian rhythm had long shifted to accommodate. When he found himself awake at this time of day, he normally went hunting, enjoying being out in the fields by himself before anyone else came into the territory. He would listen to the birds sing and the mice chitter, before he would chase after one of them.
Snakepad wasn't tired, but felt a curious sort of energy that was simultaneously stimulating and draining. He felt his paws automatically carrying him towards the entrance of camp, prepared to venture out into the WindClan land for his normal patrol, but he suddenly stopped.
He was deputy.
That was why.
It hit him with the full force of a blow from Tigerstripe, and he did a double take. That new feeling... he was deputy. He was in charge of everyone now, supposed to be partially accountable for their actions... he felt dumbstruck by the epiphany, and he felt himself start shaking again. How could he take responsibility for others? Make decisions that could potentially change their lives?
He swallowed, closing his eyes. Blood pounded in his ears. He remembered the night, such a flurry it had been; Stormstar proclaiming him deputy, the yowling of congratulations that had followed, and his own feeling of elation, not at the fact that he'd been promoted, but more so at the roaring of pride Tigerstripe had given, getting to see the shine in his father's eyes that reflected the depth of his love... he had waited for that look all his life.
And now Tigerstripe was still sleeping, and it was just Snakepad by himself, in his new shoes of authority. He was alone. Tigerstripe had never been deputy. Tigerstripe couldn't tell him what to do. That was up to himself.
"Snakepad?"
The tabby jumped at the high-pitched squeak behind him, but smiled at the young russet bat-eared kitten staring at him with wide eyes. "Hello, Sorrelkit. You're up early."
"Had a dream," his foster son replied, yawning wildly and automatically sidling up next to Snakepad. Warmth flowed through the older tom, and suddenly everything seemed grounded again. "Wanna be with you." At Snakepad's paws Sorrelkit curled up and closed his eyes, evidently still tired. "I can't believe my daddy's the deputy now!"
"Yeah, he is," Snakepad chuckled quietly, feeling proud all of a sudden.
"You'll be telling others what to do!"
The bushes rustled, and he turned to see someone sliding out from the warriors' den. "Snakepad," the other tom greeted, dipping his head. "Anything for me to do?" His eyes slid to the slumbering form of Snakepad's son at his paws, and he cracked a smile.
The pale ginger tom's eyes followed his Clanmate's, and he too smiled down gently. He could do this. Taking a breath, he turned to face the other tom. "Yeah. Let's go hunting."

ThunderClan - Leader Apprentice - Newtpaw - 20mia08
My character would be interesting in this position because:Newtpaw has an interesting plot planned, should the deputy apprentice be willing to be her boyfriend. She lives somewhat of a perfect life: popular among her fellow apprentices, respected by her clan, the apple of her Clan's eye. However, the deputy apprentice and her may be a little... too close. Their feelings for each other are strong, with Newtpaw being particularly possessive of him, almost violently so. Call her a hypocrite, but Newtpaw, on the other hand, is much more willing to share herself because she craves popularity and attention. However, one thing leads to another, and Newtpaw develops fugue. She sees something horrible that nobody should have seen, leading her mind to betray her. She disappears from ThunderClan without a trace as her mind desperately tries to forget what it has seen, leaving her to find none other than DarkClan. There, she forgets her ThunderClan origins, everything, and renames herself. She lives a separate life there, completely forgetting everything. Her mind even thinks up a fake backstory. Will she regain her memory after her knight in shining armor finds her? Will she return home to take up the title she was given? Or will she find better company in DarkClan? Drama, drama, drama!
Sitting back on her haunches comfortably with a confident smirk, Newtpaw continued to chat among her fellow apprentices, boasting of her training from the previous day. She sat close to the apprentice of Briarsong, their relationship growing increasing strong, almost suspiciously so. It seemed that whenever another apprentice flashed a smile his way, Newtpaw would immediately jump in with a not-so-passive glare. It was true that a bond between the pair of apprentices was necessary and that it had to be strong, but maybe not...that fortified. Was it possible for them to work together with feelings getting in the way? Rising in a stretch, Newtpaw bid the apprentices fair well. Training was calling her name, and she couldn't wait another second. She invited her fellow deputy apprentice along, but was bitterly disappointed to have him decline. She never liked leaving him alone, but it would appear that she had no choice. Continuing with her mature demeanor, she gave him a firm nod farewell before trotting away. No need to worry...he'd still be there when she returned. Besides, training was much more important. She had to be the strongest, for them. Turning on her paws, Newtpaw made her way towards the direction of Lynxstar's den, ears pricked with her whiskers quivering eagerly. Battle training with her mentor could be rough indeed, but she could handle it with no problem. It was her eagerness to learn from him that kept her in one piece, really. She enthusiastically accepted whatever he had to belt out, and with DarkClan remaining as an existing threat, the more she learned the better. The scars on her ears were a haunting reminder of what ThunderClan's enemies were capable of. And she'd stop at nothing to ensure that they never hurt her clanmates again. "Lynxstar?" The chocolate mottled she-cat curiously poked her head into his den. Most dare not enter uninvited, but the confident apprentice saw herself as exclusive. Besides, getting Lynxstar fired up would only make training more interesting. The tougher he was on her, the stronger she could get. "Are you up for some battle-training this morning? I'm really hungering for a good spar myself."

RiverClan - Medicine Cat - Willowbranch - @username My character would be interesting in this position because: I see Willowbranch as a cat who's overwhelmed with grief from the loss of her mentor. She was forced to receive her full name early after Mistyheart's death, and the young she-cat feels incredibly out of place. She's worried that she won't be able to fill her mentor's paws and is in constant self-doubt. Seeing her development as a Medicine Cat would be very interesting.
RP Example:
Willowbranch lashed her tail in annoyance as she focused harder on the stem she was trying so hard to grow. Come on, Willowbranch! You need this to grow! Whitetail needs this Catmint or he'll die. She shook her head. She couldn't do this on her own. She needed Mistyheart's help. Her mentor had passed earlier in the moon and the small she-cat was forced to go to the half-moon meeting on her own. Her fellow Medicine Cats had given her her full Medicine Cat name while they honoured their lost companion.
She sank her claws into the cold earth as she tried again. Growing plants in leafbare was incredibly tough, even if she had the power of her element to help. The fragile plant would freeze quickly. Her lack of concentration didn't help either. Willowbranch sighed and stared at the small stem. She just needed a little bit more.
Using as much strength as she could muster, she finally managed to get just enough for another dose for Whitetail. She plucked the plant up and quickly carried it into her den. Whitetail's breathing was shallow. Panic flooded the she-cat. She padded to their side and nudged the stems closer to the tom. He opened his eyes and ate them slowly. She stroked his back with her tail. "Yes, that's it. Get some rest now, ok? You'll feel better before you know it." She smiled.
Willowbranch stood up and walked away. It was a promise she didn't know if she could keep.

Thunderclan - Deputy apprentice - Owlpaw - Shadowcat My character would be interesting as the deputy apprentice because he can listen well to others and take their views and opinions into account. Owlpaw can also take charge and lead others, for times when the leader is unable to or for organizing patrols. I feel like his personality would be good for a deputy, not necessarily a perfect leader, but content and good at being second-in-command. A plot idea I have is that he would at first be extremely close with the leader apprentice, but then begin to drift away. At first unnoticeable but inevitably ending up with two broken and confused cats. They had been the best of friends, then they slipped away, out of sync and unable to grasp back on. With the two of them in disharmony, what would be in store for Thunderclan's future? With a leader and deputy-to-be unable to work together fluidly, the prospects for their clan seems grim. RP example- Owlpaw sat attentively in the camp, waiting for his mentor, Briarsong. Like any other apprentices, he was excited for training. Unlike the others, though, he was the deputy apprentice, placing more importance and responsibilities upon his shoulders. He could still remember his apprentice ceremony, the joy of being chosen as Briarsong's successor, the feeling filling his chest and warming him to his core. He was snapped out of his reverie by another cat, the leader apprentice. The gray tom smiled and greeted them warmly, the two of them were extremely close, and being together filled his chest with a sense of joy and elation. "How are you?" he asked. They replied that they were fine, of course they were. In his eyes, they were perfect and deserved everything they had. After speaking to each other of their daily affairs, they parted ways and Owlpaw was left there, still waiting patiently. Briarsong appeared soon after, and the two of them walked out of camp in companionable silence. It was only once they reached a clearing did they speak. "What training are we doing today?" Owlpaw inquired, wanting to be prepared for whatever his mentor threw at him. "Let's test your hunting skills today," Briarsong responded, nodding to the apprentice for him to begin.
Senses on high alert and pawsteps softened, the small gray cat began to scour the area. Almost immediately, he detected a squirrel at the base of a tall oak tree. First checking to confirm its location, he then slunk quietly into the shadows. Dropping into a hunters crouch, Owlpaw could feel the adrenaline beginning to pump in his limbs. Every muscle was kept still, until it all exploded out into a pounce. His white paws pinned the creature down, his teeth quickly ending its life. He quietly sent a prayer to Starclan before looking up at Briarsong. The deputy was nodding and approval and walked over. Owlpaw felt happiness coursing through his body, a feeling of warmth and sunny days.
He held his head up high, chest puffed out and tail arched in a manner of pride. He, Owlpaw, was the deputy apprentice of the greatest clan there ever was.

RiverClan - Representative - Bumblepelt - @.fern My character would be interesting in this position because: Bumblepelt would want the role of Representative to prove himself to his kin that he is important to the Clan. I believe he would quickly realize that he's way in over his head with the politics of being Representative. Bumblepelt would desperately try to please the Clan instead of focusing on the affairs of the other Clans, likely going with the crowd instead of doing what he thinks is right.
Rp sample:
"RiverClan has spoken. Our new representative is Bumblepelt!"
What?
By StarClan, he did it! He was the new RiverClan Representative! He could finally make a difference in his Clan. He could finally prove to his parents that he was useful to the Clan. Many of his Clanmates began to surround him, congratulating him and cheering his name. Bumblepelt felt a surge of pride. He finally found his place in RiverClan.
His eyes fell on his sister, who appeared bitter. She wanted the rank of Representative just as much as he did, and he took it from her. He could see his parents with her instead of him. He frowned. It had always been that way. They prefered her over him, even when he won. What did he have to do to prove to them he was just as good as she was? He was Representative of their Clan for StarClan's sake! He was just as good as she was!
Willowbranch approached him, the small medicine-cat dipped her head. "I'm ready to head to Moonfalls when you are. It's time to receive StarClan's blessing." She meowed. Bumblepelt nodded.
He'd prove them wrong. All of them.

ShadowClan - Medicine Cat - Featherlight - aristapopMy character would be interesting in this position because: Featherlight is a listener, and can best tend to her clan's needs. Being blind, her sense of smell has been heightened, and for wounds like burns, she can smell exactly how bad it is. She can also serve as their rock. Being through hardship her growing moons allowed her to have the mental stability to handle and help her clan grow. She can offer wisdom where she can, or be an advisor when her clan asks her to. rp sample: Featherlight was cleaning out their stores. Getting rid of stale herb, and putting the ones that were dried in a pile. Her mentor had just joined the ranks of starclan, passing due to her many moons of service to her clan. Featherlight missed her dearly already, but knew she would she her mentor again during the halfmoon, if starclan is willing. She could still smell her mentor's fading scent in the den, from when they had last cleaned up their stores. She moved along the crevices where they stored to leaves and plants. Bugs often fester here to feast on their herbs, which is why her mentor had several spiders living in the corner of their den, gathering their cobwebs only when they needed to. Oh, her mentor had taught her a lot of things. Not only had she passed down her wealth of medicinal knowledge, but also passed down the wisdom that she had gained through her journey here on the earth. Featherlight respected her mentor, who had helped her come out of her dark place, when she could see nothing else but death. Putting the good herbs back up on the crevices, she took the dried herbs and organized them into smaller crevices. Her and her mentor found that dried herbs were much more effective not only in their healing but also when trying to get the kits and apprentices to eat them with their meals. The stale herbs, and those that have gone bad, she took outside the camp and placed in her herb patch, a trick that thunderclan had invented, but has been shared with all clans.

Shadowclan - Deputy - Crowleap- simonwhoMy character would be interesting in this position because Crowleap is very calm and understanding. He is also very loyal to the code despite being in Shadowclan. He often surveys a situation and makes a plan before taking action. _ The tom stared at the clan, paws tucked underneath him. He took note of how they acted, how they spoke. As a newly made deputy, Crowleap would have to speak with these cats, help guide them, protect them as best he could as deputy. His torn ears twitched, then rotated as his name was called. Rotating his head, -paw padded towards him, a rather angry expression upon their usually smiling face. Pushing himself to a stand, he met them halfway, raising an eyebrow at the young cat. "Yes, -paw?" He'd ask, head tilted expectantly, waiting for their response. "My mentor isn't training me." Was all the apprentice said before the deputy's eyes narrowed, ears flattening. "What? Are you serious? I'll have a talk with -star. I'll see what I can do. For now, -paw, please train with the other warriors and their apprentices." With that, Crowleap was off, heading straight towards his leaders den. "-star!" He'd say before entering, tail flicking. "-paw informed me their mentor isn't training them." The tom said, bowing his head to the cat. "I was hoping we could change his mentor to a different cat, and punish his current mentor." The leader seemed to think for a moment, staring at Crowleap, not saying a word. Then, they nodded, slowly. "I'll make an announcement, then. Get their mentor, if you will, Crowleap." The dark tabby tom nodded, turning and trotting away, looking for the warrior that neglected their apprentice. Once he found them, he marched straight for them, clearing his throat and glaring at them. "-star wishes to speak with you." Was all the deputy said before tossing his head towards the leader.

Dark Clan- Head Queen- NightWhisper - @//ShadowQueen My character would be interesting in this position because: (night whisper is a very calm, serious, convincing female. She has no problem voicing her thoughts and opinions, and making herself heard and understood. She is very direct and serious, but loving in a dicreet way. Due to her infertility and the early miscarriage of her unborn kits, she is very fond of all kits and young cats, displaying nurturing and protective qualities. She is a blue short haired cat 5 years of age with crystal clear blue eyes and scars on her face from battling wild animals defending orphaned kits. She would give her life to the clan, as they saved hers.
RP example: After thunder clan's ambush nightwhisper waited patiently during the ceremony while Ravenstar spoke, sitting uncomfortably between ravenstar and tawny light, tail twitching with restrained anger. Her slate colored nose also twitching as the scent of blood fueled her anger. Her crystal blue eyes scanned the wounded clan members, most of them she had raised as her own from kits.
"Nightwhisper are you all right?" Tawny light murmured, slightly leaning closer.
"I'm fine,"she replied coldly, outright lying.
She didn't even glance at him. Her blue eyes remained on the Shadows beyond. The second ravenstar finished, nightwhisper left from The Rock and trotted determinedly towards the thicket.
"Wait, stop!"
Nightwhisper slowed but never turned. She knew that spiderface, the medicine cat ran after her. As the dark sleek haired Tom caught up to her she turned her head slightly to look into his light green eyes.
"Wait, you really should let me take care of your wounds," stated the skinny Tom seriously.
Nightwhisper chuckled, but it was a cold sarcastic sound.
"It's nothing" she snarled. "Be of some use and go take care of the young'uns."
Spiderface narrowed his eyes at her snark reply but he seemed unfazed.
"Oh so that on your face is nothing?" He nodded towards the deep bleeding cut across her right eye.
The blood slowly trickled into her eye, blurring it slightly. It stung, but it wasn't her that mattered at the moment. She momentarily regretted her reply, after all he was only doing his job and trying to help. Her crystal blue eyes softened momentarily as she looked at him.
"I'm sorry, I really have to go."
With that settled she sprinted off into the deep ticket like a blue streak of lightning. Nightwhisper effortlessly bounded through the overgrown thicket, ignoring the muscle aches in her body from the battle, all senses on high alert. Occasionally she stopped to paw at her injured eye, but she could still see crystal clear in the darkness thanks to her dark gifts. She was determined to complete this mission, the only thing that mattered to her. Suddenly she heard it...a soft weak meow. Nightwhisper froze, ears pricked towards the sound. It could be a trap. ThunderClan Warriors might still be lurking about to pick off the stranded and the wounded. Her heartbeat sped up has she narrowed her eyes and sniffed in the direction. Blood. Lots of it. Stealthily, she began to move towards the scent, her paws expertly overstepping branches and twigs, her muscles rippling with her effort to step as lightly as possible. She was the master of stealth, and finally she saw what she had been looking for. A fallen ThunderClan warrior. She occulted herself in the shadows, another one of her dark gifts, and observed silently. It was a female brown and black tabby. Her long sleek fur was knotted with blood. She was not yet full grown. Suddenly nightwhisper's past flared before her. The indignation of it all! They had left her here to die! The wounded she cat weakly opened her yellow eyes and let out another pained meow. Nightwhisper's heart could take no more. She held her breath and bravely stepped from the Shadows. Upon seeing the large blue she cat, the broken Warrior's eyes widened with terror. She could not move, her bones were broken. The tabby let out a week hiss, bearing her teeth.
"No, no..." Murmured nightwhisper softly. "I'm going to take care of you."
She moved slowly and smoothly closer to the wounded she-cat, murmuring reassuring words until the she-cat relaxed and then fell out of consciousness. Nightwhisper stared down at her new charge. Was she doing the wrong thing? Maybe...but maybe not. Only the star clan could know. She lowered her head and gingerly grabbed her by the scruff of her neck with her teeth and began the grueling task of dragging her back to the clan. Thankfully, she was small and not very heavy.
