Quietstorm
There was beauty in chaos and destruction.
It had been their secret, or at least, Quietstorm was trying her best to keep her mouth shut about it. It was amazing, an impressive feat that had even managed to catch Lynxstar's attention, of all cats. It could cost countless lives in the end, but what did she care? ThunderClan was unaware of who had done it, although they shamelessly pointed fingers at ShadowClan because of their fire element.
She was proud of what they had done, of the beautiful mess they had made together. The tiny black warrior walked with pep in her step, and a gleam in her amber eyes. The charred plains, in her eyes, was something to marvel at. It was a showcase of the power that the silent clan had, a scene that was something that ThunderClan couldn't ignore. It proved that ShadowClan deserved their place in the forest more than anyone else. Their enemies had no right to say otherwise.
"I'm honestly a little disappointed." The skipping coal-colored feline paused to glance back at her golden companion, a smug expression on her features. "I think that this whole stretch was at my doing alone. Were you falling asleep on the job?"
Her brother would never approve of such disorder, hence why she had never told him about it. Her urge to brag was always ever bpersistent, but Silentsmoke's lack of vigor was quick to wear on her. He could be a total drag with that cautious attitude of his. So, she found better company, regardless of her brother's recommendations arguing otherwise. He would snide that her new company wasn't the greatest influence, and Quietstorm couldn't possibly agree more.
And that was why they had so much fun!!

you're going to regret this little fight ####  Sunwing stood close to Quietstorm, her golden pelt clear among the black-and-white plains. She couldn't help but admire the absolute distruction she had caused. Starting fights with ThunderClan's damned deputy made it all the worth while. Her track record against the she-cat wasn't the best, but she'd been training more and more to best her. Maybe she should just burn down more of the forest and hope she gets caught in the blaze. Damn, that wouldn't be any fun, now would it? I'd want to watch her bleed. She thought.
When Quietstorm spoke, Sunwing lashed her tail. "Oh really? Are we just ignoring the fact that it was my flames that crossed onto ThunderClan territory that allowed yours to follow suit? I did all the heavy lifting in this masterpiece, thank you very much." She flicked an ear. She knew Rosebounce would not approve of any of this, nor would their father, but Sunwing couldn't help it. Sometimes you just needed to burn something. And she'd prove to everyone that she could burn brighter than the sun. She'd prove it to Quietstorm. You'll watch me ignite! |

"Mhmm, sure you did." She spoke in a mocking tone with a little roll of her eyes before resuming to survey the area, ensuring that they hadn't been followed. She'd let Sunwing believe that clearing the way was her doing, at least for now. Quietstorm herself really had nothing against ThunderClan, save for their constant attempts to have beef with ShadowClan, she just really enjoyed a good competition.
...okay, maybe she did get a little carried away from time to time. But she had to outdo Sunwing, even if it meant burning half of the forest to a crisp. Sure, it would cost them prey, valuable medicinal plants, maybe a handful of warriors...but what mattered most, was that Quietstorm might win. Unfortunately it would appear that it might have been a draw, so they'd just have to have a rematch once the entire forest grew back.
The little black warrior stuck her plum-colored nose in the air. "I let you get ahead, anyways." She decided after a few moments, padding around towards the blackened trees before attempting to peel away what remained of the bark. "So you should be thanking me. I cleaned up the horrible mess you left behind, anyways. It wouldn't look nearly as impressive if it wasn't for me."
Quietstorm didn't know how Duskstar would react, nor did she ever plan on telling him. For all they knew, it was a completely natural accident, caused by lightning striking a dry tree and starting the entire forest on fire. It seemed plausible. Even if it was leafbare.

you're going to regret this little fight #### Sunwing glared at Quietstorm when she mocked her. Wanna prove it in a fight if you're so confident? Sure, Quietstorm was 6 moons older than her, but Sunwing had been busting her tail to become the best fighter in ShadowClan. She'd prove it to Briarsong the next time they'd meet. She'd been trying to convince a few of the senior warriors to help her with the more advanced techniques and finally, her mastery skill. The skill that would prove to everyone she had complete domination over her element. And she'd use it on Briarsong.
She'd use it on Quietstorm to prove a point that she did the most destruction, but she still wasn't ready to use it. She'd come close to burning her pelt off many times trying to use it. Her father urged her to learn another advanced skill first.
"Mess? I'm sorry, but chaos looks a heck of a lot better than something more in check. I'd think you were a ThunderClan cat for thinking a forest fire needs order." She sneered. You'll watch me ignite! |

Some day, for sure, Quietstorm would get her tongue fried off for talking so much smack to even her own clanmates. It was a surprise to half of ShadowClan that she had managed to make it this far in life without at least having an ounce of sense beaten into her. Really, she should be thankful that she had survived kithood after suffering from such a fatal disease. Yet, Quietstorm still resumed to act and talk before she ever thought anything through. She lived on impulses.
She liked Sunwing, she loved that she allowed Quietstorm to embrace her foolishly impulsive behavior, and never judge her for it. Anyone else in ShadowClan might have died from fright after learning that she burned a portion of ThunderClan territory. Few cats were willing to embrace the fun behind the gifts they had. They always focused on work.
What was the point of living life if you never attempting to actually live it?
Turning towards her companion. Quietstorm allowed herself to adopt a battle-stance, slinking low to the ground, so low that her dark bellyfur brushed the charred earth. Her tail twitched in excitement as Sunwing sneered at her, and a desire to create more chaos washed over her. Sometimes, it would seem that the fire that lived inside of Quietstorm controlled her, and not the other way around.
"Really?" Her voice rang with interest, and the warrior crept a little closer to the younger golden feline. "C'mon, Sunwing, put your words into action, then!"

you're going to regret this little fight #### Sunwing purred. Quietstorm wanted a fight? By StarClan, she'd give her one. This wouldn't be some petty sparring mach to Sunwing. She'd use her element at full strength. Wounds could easily be blamed on a skirmish with ThunderClan at this point anyways. How exactly did she want to start this fight? Showing off her advanced skills might be an easy way to intimidate the smoke molly out of her bold behaviour.
"I just will. And don't think I'm not using my claws. We aren't apprentices. I'm not gonna go easy on you because you're a Clanmate either!" She lashed her tail. Sunwing ignited her claws before launching herself at Quietstorm.

Quietstorm
Quietstorm was thankful that Sunwing wasn't a coward. Most cats would back down from a fight, friendly or not, simply because they were clanmates. What was the fun in that? Who cared if they were clanmates or not, if you didn't die from a fight, than you grew stronger by learning from it. Not only that, but it was fun as well.
A wave of excitement washed over the black molly when she spotted the flames growing at Sunwing's claws. Yes! She was itching for a good skirmish, something to release all of that built up energy she felt within her tiny frame. However, when her companion attacked, Quietstorm managed to leap out of the way in the nick of time.
She tsk'd in disappointment. "I think you can do much better than that, Miss 'we-aren't-apprentices'. Here, watch and learn!"

She desperately wanted that streak to end before her next encounter with Briarsong. Hopefully it would end today with Quietstorm."Be careful what you wish for Quietstorm. You just might get it!" She hissed. Sunwing went in for another try at hitting her with her claws.

The dark warrior cringed before glancing to her side, admiring the scorched fur. "Much better. I guess you don't always have cotton in your ears." She looked to Sunwing with a prickly grin that revealed her tiny, dagger-like fangs. Snaking forward, she aimed to make her next attack. It would be strange, waltzing back into camp with all of these wounds...guess they'd just have to blame it on ThunderClan.

She gritted her teeth. I'll give her something to cry about. She thought furiously. Sunwing prepped a large fireball before launching it towards Quietstorm.
