Leopardfang peered into the nursery with a juicy frog placed in his jaws, his usual angry demeanor replaced with something a bit more... toned down. His clanmates had started to worry for him, he'd been this way ever since his litter of kits had been born. Some say it was because he realized that his kits couldn't keep up with his rough-and-tumble attitude. Some say that Duskstar hmself had forced him to play nice. Others speculate that the kits made him have a change of heart. But it was really because Cinderblossom wouldn't let him see them if he didn't calm down. "Here," he said, dropping the frog at the silver molly's paws. Cinderblossom looked up at the tom, raising an eye ridge. "Is that all?" she asked. Leopardfang rolled his eyes. "You can ave more when leafbare is over. Help yourself, in fact. But that's all there is, be glad I let you have it," he quipped, settling down. Cinderblossom huffed and rolled her yellow eyes. " Fine," she got to her paws and walked over to the tom, pressing her cheek against his head. He rumbled, but returned the gesture, closing his eyes as he sighed. Flamekit mewled in protest when she felt her mother move away from her and her siblings. She tried to raise her tiny head when she heard voices. I wonder who she's talking too, the kit wondered. Though she couldn't really see, she could hear pretty well.

Sootkit has been suckling peacefully until Cinderblossom had gotten up and left. He let out a mew of protest, rolling over onto his back dramatically. I wasn’t finished yet! I’m still hungry! He wanted to yell, but he was too tired to care. Sootkit lazily stretched out his limbs, kicking one of his litter mates in the face unintentionally. Echo Shadowcat Blaze |

Ashkit gave an loud squeak as her mother pulled away, her annoyance was doubled as a paw hit her face. Who dared to touch her beautiful face. She gave a soft growl and rolled onto her attacker, her small claws attempting to pummel her sibling. Ugh, they were sooo annoying. Echo Thorne Blaze |

Emberkit mewed in protest as his mother suddenly left, during his feeding time, right when it was getting good. He huffed and tried to crawl over to where she could possibly be, but seeing as he still couldn't open his eyes yet, it proved to be quite a challenge. He bumped into something soft, though not nearly as big as his mother. An obstacle, perhaps? In any case, he decided that the best thing to do was to push it out of the way. Flamekit squeaked in protest as one of her siblings shoved her out of the way. She tried to smack him with her paw but since she could't see, she failed. She tried to growl, that didn't work either. She eventually gave up and put her tiny head down. She sighed and fell asleep.
