Her mother was gone, a loss in the most recent war, taken by the bitter claws of StarClan. However, Ebonystream was independent and proud, strongly so, and it only bothered her the slightest. Admittedly, she was disappointed that her mother was spineless enough to not die in the process of the battle, instead dragging herself back to DarkClan like a sorry excuse to seek pity. If you are to die, why not pass on while fighting honorably for your clan? Cowards fled in the face of death, warriors with the heart of a lion laughed in its face and accepted the challenge. Ebonystream would have been the latter, even if others would call her foolish for it.
The oriental sat in the depths of the dark cave to seek time to herself, after having an outburst and threatening to rip one of her clanmates' faces off. Oops? Her temporary isolation was for the better, even if she was absolute dying to soak her claws in blood, regardless if the blood belonged to a ThunderClanner or not. Her clanmates would frown upon her for attacking another warrior in camp, especially directly after a war that had cost them lives. Typically, she wouldn't care, but Ebonystream was feeling particularly moody at the moment. She was like a walking roller coaster.
Her ebony coat practically blended with the shadows without the aid of her dark element. Her piercing eyes, narrowed and ablaze from her inner rage, were almost all that was visible. Darkness had never bothered her, but fire...it was somewhat of an obsession. Sometimes, she wished she had been born as a fire-element, but alas, StarClan was set on cursing her and making her life as miserable as possible.
...that was why she thought the Dark Forest was way cooler.
