*Brief Description: Blind white feline
In-depth Description: Featherlight is a white cat of seemingly small build. She is bigger then many cats typically perceive her, but most don't notice unless they are right beside her. Her supposed hazel eyes are faded from her blindness.
*+Listener, kind, supportive
*- Stubborn, quiet, explosive bursts of emotion
*:Keeps to herself, curious/font]
Personality description: Featherlight is a quiet cat, preferring to listen rather then talk herself. She is a thinker, curious, and her brain is often racked with ideas and thoughts, although she chooses to keep to herself because she feels as if she would learn more from her surroundings and clan mates rather then speaking her ideas and is often supportive of the clan mates that she agrees with. Once she has a goal however, she can be quite stubborn
and it is quite difficult for a cat to deviate her from her ways/methods.
Because she is so private, there are times when she can have quite an explosive burst of emotion. Sometimes it would be after a very tense, bloody battle and she could sense the wounds and grief around her, or even when clan mates are too busy arguing to listen to each other. Little things could trigger her bursts, however they are typically once a moon, if the moon was an eventful one. These bursts of emotions are often channeled into schooling her clan mates, or pour her everything into trying to save her clan mates from wounds and illnesses she knows would most likely kill them.

Featherlight's mother gave birth to her, her two littermates, and one still-born. One kit, her sister, was born deaf. While her brother, died not too long after the birth. Featherlight grew up sickly, and lost her sight just as she had opened her eyes.
Featherlight's mother never recovered from her almost lost litter, and tended to neglect Featherlight to soothe her own mental wounds. Featherlight spent much of her kit-hood listening to her mother's woes. She learned quickly that saying "But I survived!" Never helped her mother.
Featherlight's father, Fire- busied himself with clan-work, unable to comfort his mate. He hunted and patrolled at all times of the day. The only time he was seen at camp was to eat and sleep, as well as the occasional report to their leader. He quickly became an elder after losing his leg in a training gone wrong, and shortly starved himself to death from seeing his grieving mate.
Featherlight could not grieve for her father's death, since he was rarely present in her life. As a medicine cat apprentice, she had tried hard to get him to eat, but to ill avail. Featherlight then had to take care of her mother, whose condition got worse. She ate very little, and soon not at all as she was 'ill-deserving' and 'cursed'. Featherlight toiled at her mother's care, and eventually, she passed as well.
Not long after, Featherlight became a full-fledged medicine cat, earning her name, Featherlight. Her mentor, when giving her name, said it was due to her lightness, not only in her medicinal care but also her love, as Featherlight was not bitter about her parent's passing.
After receiving her name, Featherlight blamed herself for her parents apparent suicide for being the only kit to live. Many moons passed as her Mentor watch the light in her fade.
One day, her mentor had talked to her in their den, while tending to their herb stock. She said; "It's okay to blame yourself, but that won't change anything. You are here now, and you can make a change to help your clan mates. You are their medicine-cat, their care-taker. They will not survive when you are barely holding onto yourself."
Since then, Featherlight not only carried great respect for her mentor, but she also had respect towards herself. She became the rock that she needed to be and held herself to that. She was thankful towards her mentor for giving her the words she needed to hear, and grew as a cat, with the openness of improvement and a fire to do her work to the best of her abilities.
