Lynxstar growled as he felt flaming claws hook into his pelt. It was an oversight on his part, one he’d never hear the end of from Vixenleap or Sagewhisker later, but he wasn’t going to just let her have this. It was a fight she wanted so it was a fight she was going to get. With a heave of effort, he reared onto his hind legs, struggling for balance with the extra cat on top of him. Only wondering if she’d gained weight since they last sparred, he summoned his pillars once more and broke them into large rocks. He turned his back towards them and sent them flying their way. If she didn’t let go, she was in for a rude awakening.
Unless, of course, she did.
He hadn’t planned that far ahead.

 THERE IS A THIN LINE between what is good and what is evil I will tiptoe down that line but I will feel unstable Fire continued to crackle around the red molly's claws as she remained latched onto Lynxstar's thick fur like some relentless tick. The smell of singed fur trickled into her nostrils as she remained in place as the large leader shifted and weight and reared like a horse. Vixenleap gritted her teeth, stubborn in her efforts to win the fight over Lynxstar and refused to loosen her grip as her claws continued to make the tom's fur curl and shrivel from the heat. There was a curious noise behind her, the crumbling and shifting of rocks as Lynxstar summoned them form their earthy depths. "I ain't giving up that easy! Thought you knew me better than that." Cackled the flamboyant feline, sinking her front claws further into his smoky fur. Would it hurt, getting crushed by rocks? Yes- but Vixenleap's skull was as thick as those rocks that were about to be plastered to her sides. It wasn't like she was expecting to walk out of their scuffle completely injury-free. She wanted to feel the burn of tired muscles, and so Vixenleap braced her form to prepare for a collision with the rocks. But what she'd forgotten was that her flaming claws were cooking Lynxstar's coat, and before she knew it, the fur had become brittle and useless under her grasp. It was at first her hind legs that slipped, causing Vixenleap to desperately grasp for another tuft of fur, only to miss and fall off of the tom's back. BlazeMADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 |

She finally falls off, he notes with a mix of satisfaction and annoyance - it would take quite a bit for his fur to regrow. But nonetheless, his pillars smash together and crumble into a pile of stones, which he gladly uses in a barrage against the flaming molly. He turns, his tail whipping behind him and he sends a flurry of stones towards her, charging forward afterwards with claws outstretched.

She landed with a rough grunt, feeling a bit of air escape her lungs before she tightened her jaw and turned to face the giant tom once more. She wouldn't give in- they wouldn't be done with their little match until one of them was either having a heart attack, or needed to seriously see Sagewhisker. At this rate, she was sure he'd have a heart attack, so all was in her favor. The ruddy ticked molly's hackles remained raised and her claws unsheathed, the blaze at her paws temporarily quenched so that she might conserve energy. Vixenleap awaited Lynxstar as he made his move, sending a cascade of rocks in her direction before pelting after them. The smart thing to do would be to move- after all, Vixenleap had agility on her side. But she was also horrendously stubborn. If they were going to play this damn game of chicken, then she was going to win. The aggressive molly curled a lip and released a deep snarl before summoning a wall of flames in the form of her flamethrower attack pokemon, sinking her claws into the earth as she rooted herself into her position.
