"Come along, you two. I would rather not get my fur wetter than it needs to be."
It had merely been three sunrises since the Gathering, and while Lynxstar had no qualms with traveling to DarkClan territory to discuss this "Meeting", he would've liked stay on his own territory before traveling to marshlands. He hadn't been outside of camp very much in these last few moons and he was beginning to go stircrazy, so he'd thanked every cat in StarClan when Sagewhisker finally allowed him leave.
The first thing he decided to do was hunt, he still wasn't feeling well enough to train and he'd been longing to feel the forest floor underneath his paws again, instead of the nettles where ThunderClan had made its camp. He'd insisted in joining Hornetswipe and Soft-tail's hunting patrol once he'd noticed them heading toward the entrance, and it hadn't escaped his noticed that they seemed to be walking on thorns around him. He hadn't really cared at first, but then the silence had been deafening once they had reached the River Rocks. It wouldn't killed them to at least ask how he was doing, y'know.
Nonetheless, he carried on with the patrol, parting his jaws to taste the air. When he scented nothing but a few fish he turned to the other two toms. "Anything?" he mewed, keeping his voice low.
