*History: Redkit was born into RiverClan with her sisters, Morningkit and Brightkit. Their parents, Elmfur and Antpetal, were reaching the end of their warrior careers and decided that there was no time like the present. They were never very close to one another to begin with, but loved their kits all the same.

Her apprenticeship was nothing special before Leaf Bare. Moth- was stricter than most other mentors, but still very loving and proud of his apprentice. When Leaf Bare hit, Moth- always made sure that Redpaw ate at least something before he rested for the night. Redpaw, Morningpaw and Brightpaw were usually found trying to hunt land prey once they gave up on the river, but were usually unsuccessful in finding any prey. Once Watersong died and Bumblepelt came into power, Redpaw was starting to decide if she wanted to stay in RiverClan anymore. She was sick of going hungry every day and while she knew Newleaf would come eventually, she wanted to be around to see it. 

She received her warrior name with Morningdapple and Brightwing after the battle with WindClan and while everyone was busy healing, she gave a quick goodbye to her family and left RiverClan to join ShadowClan. She vowed she would never be cold and hungry again if she could help it.
