Ioana003 He’d silently kept track of the next few days, wandering out camp in the middle of the night just to come back in the morning. Vixenleap had been mostly busy on patrols and training her apprentice so he hadn’t spoken to her since their little “spar”. He secretly hoped he hadn’t done anything to make her upset, lest Lilacpaw pay for it. Nonetheless, he’d told Hailsky that he would meet her here once she made up her mind so here he sat, on the border between WindClan and ThunderClan, waiting for an enemy warrior to show up with her decision. She was quite an odd she-cat, no doubt his warriors would take that as an advantage to leave her in WindClan. He, however, was fascinated with her. It was rare that he had the chance to talk to warriors from other clans (aside from gatherings) but even then, he was treated with a level of cautious respect, like one would with a wounded clanmate. Most walked on pine needles around him, for reasons he understood and was quite proud of, though Hailsky seemed to not care in the slightest. It makes one wonder how she is around Stormstar, if that were the case.

Hailsky The white figure of the WindClan Warrior walked calmly through the bushes. A few days had passed ever since her last meeting, and during that entire time, she thought of what questions she could ask and how she’d adapt to a new Clan. Curiosity was the only thing the she-cat ever felt, whenever she felt anything at all. So to finally get the chance to quell the flame inside her mind would always be welcomed. Her decision was final the moment she spoke it aloud, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. As the last of the birds’ chirps died off, Hailsky entered the clearing they had first met in, her icy gaze travelling slowly across it. A few bushes rested to the side. Determined, the cat walked towards ThunderClan’s Leader and sat down. Her gaze was expectant as she waited for what he had decided. There was no need to rush it, yet. |  | Words. 156 Tags. As the bushes rustled and parted to show Hailsky’s form, Lynxstar sat up, alert and ready. She sat down without another word and gave him a stare that would make most cats squirm.
He was not most cats, however.
Lynxstar studied her carefully, going over the pros and cons of this decision. There would be very few who would actually be welcoming to the molly, maybe the apprentices and Peachdusk, but on the other paw...
Sagewhisker and Vixenleap would be furious.
All were well aware of Vixenleap’s intense hatred of her own gender, he would have to see if he could keep them separate, if not for their own sakes, then for the clan. Vixenleap had little regard for material things, after all. As for Sagewhisker, while he wouldn’t be open about it, he still wouldn’t be happy about it. It would take time for him to warm up, but Hailsky didn’t seem to be the sociable type. Perhaps in another life...
But for now, he stood and looked down at her. ”You have made your decision, I assume?” he rumbled.

Hailsky Curious, the she-cat starred in the tom’s eyes. Truly, he should’ve known this by now. Her slim tail waved slowly as she looked just a little longer. She wasn’t quite sure as to what he was thinking, but the molly wanted to know. Knowledge was the only thing she desired. As silence stilled the air, the Warrior broke it with her mew: “I’ve made my decision two sunrises ago.”The she-cat continued to stare. Cats had always fascinated her: their eyes always seemed so expressive, yet she never gained anything from them. From all the ways they could look, none answered any of her questions. And yet, she always knew, somewhere, hidden in her desert of a mind, like an oasis that you could never reach. Something made her feel as if the world itself was shattering, but only for a fraction of a second before returning to sterile curiosity. This had always made her wonder if others feel it. Lynxstar huffed a quiet laugh.
He’d have to assign a mentor to her, if all went well. He wasn’t one to keep trying if results didn’t yield immediately, so she would have to plead her case to the clan before he did much else.
”It is not my decision to make, remember that,” he mewed, before he looked up at the sky. The sun was reaching its peak in the sky, it would be best to start moving now so it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise.
”Come along, now. Let us hope all shall go well, lest we hear from both ThunderClan and WindClan.“
