Lynxstar strutted into camp with Hailsky in tow, ignoring the stares and whispers of his warriors. He was vaguely aware of the accusatory glares the molly was getting but he decided to ignore them for now. All would be dealt with soon. He stopped and turned to her, whispering into her ear, ”Stand in the center of camp where everyone can see you. I cannot help you, you must make your case yourself.” He stood back to let her mull over his words for a moment before he turned and leapt onto the High Rock. ”Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around for a Clan meeting!" he yowled, locking his eyes with Hailsky’s. ”Hailsky of WindClan, it is your wish to join ThunderClan and leave behind the moor. ThunderClan does not take lightly to outsiders, however, therefore you must make your argument. In order for you to join us, the majority of the clan must vote in your favor. If they do not, then you must leave and you will be treated as an enemy warrior and chased off ThunderClan territory accordingly. If they do vote in your favor, then you will be assigned a mentor and taught the ways of ThunderClan until you become a full warrior of ThunderClan.”He sat up and flicked his tail, for her start. Hailsky This truly was quite peculiar. The smells, the sights, everything was new, unusual, interesting. Somehow, the forest floor felt softer but also much harder than the moor at the same time. As if the trees themselves decided so, the sun barely touched the white Warrior’s pelt. Unsure of what to think of the closeness of everything, Hailsky reasoned to stop. After all, she’ll get to learn about all of this later, right? Plus, the camp was right there in front of her. No reason to keep bumbling about. Slowly, the she-cat entered. Cats stared at her, some looking scared, others curious, and some aggressive. She, on the other hand, simply wondered what would happen next. Maybe they all did. Then Lynxstar spoke to her. ‘Make a case for myself?’ thought the Warrior. ‘Why would I need to make a case for myself?’Right after that, as the confused she-cat mulled over his words, ThunderClan’s Leader spoke again, this time no longer next to her. “Hm,” thought Hailsky aloud. “Well, I am a fully trained Warrior, with knowledge I doubt many from here posses. Since I found myself wanting to know more, I decided WindClan was no longer somewhere I wished to be.”She sighed a pause in her speech, letting her words sink in the others’ minds. Quickly after, she continued: “I propose that ThunderClan lets me stay here and teaches me of you, and in turn, I’ll teach everyone what I know: my skills, my knowledge, my secrets.
And if you’re worried about loyalties, I have no reason to go against ThunderClan.” ‘I truly hope that ThunderClan cares about knowledge as I do.’ thought the she-cat. | | Words. 277 Tags. Blaze Notes. I honestly had no idea what she could bring to the table. Send help. | |

You’re something out of a dream #### @// Mosspaw's attention was pulled when she heard Lynxstar's call to gather his Clan. She was more than old enough to catch her own prey! She was gonna listen to this Clan meeting. Maybe she could bring back some interesting information for Stormstar and gain the advantage on ThunderClan. Make use of her time here.
The tortoiseshell apprentice sat at the entrance of the den, looking out through the ferns.
Her eyes widened in shock as she recognized a Clanmate. Hailsky? What was she doing here? Maybe she was coming to take them home!
But when Lynxstar continued to speak, Mosspaw's hackles raised and she let out a low growl. She knew she was going to get in trouble if she spoke. Maybe Lynxstar would send her home without her sister! But she had to say something. She was unfamilliar with ThunderClan customs, so she was uncertain of what was going on. All she knew was that Hailsky was a traitor to WindClan.
"Hailsky! How could you leave your Clan behind like this? Where is your loyalty?" She spat. Recalling her mother's teachings, she continued. "Where is your honour?"
She was certainly getting thrown out of ThunderClan's camp now. Messing with my head

Eelchaser As the storm element groomed his tiger-striped fur, he heard the yowl of a gathering. Lynxstar’s voice was possibly the most familiar to him, weirdly enough. Going to all those Gatherings had helped the tom in more ways than one, and he was rather grateful. With an awkward shuffle, Eelchaser got up from his nest and walked the lonely distance between his nest and everyone else’s. Although he was officially a ThunderClan cat, his new clanmates were still rather disapproving of him. ‘Not like it doesn’t make sense,’ thought the warrior. Warm sunlight greeted the storm element, dazing him momentarily. Eelchaser thought he’d be used to bright lights by now, but the pine forest was rather shadowy, and there was always at least one spot where no light penetrated, even from his clanmates. ‘Stop thinking so much about them,’ grumbled the tom through his thoughts. While his eyes fought off the sun, his mind started again to wonder: ‘What could this meeting be about? An apprentice ceremony perhaps? That Softclaw or something’s kits were getting quite old.’Then, his ears picked out the words of his leader, among the hushed whispers from around him. Alarm struck the warrior like StarClan’s wrath. ‘No, this is not okay! Why should we have a stranger join the Clan?? And for what reason?’ Perhaps a bit hypocritical for the tom to think this way, considering he was a stranger not too long ago, at least he had good reasons: to help a cat in need. And to get away from the chaos of ShadowClan. And this would most certainly cause chaos. Before his mind could form any sort of refusal (while also trying to keep himself from hissing some ShadowClan ‘sayings’ he’d heard of), the snowy WindClanner spoke her reasoning. Oh boy, did the tom not buy it. ‘Knowledge?? I knew WindClan was weird, but come on!’ But another voice spoke her distaste about this: Mosspaw, one of the WindClan apprentices who came running to ThunderClan’s medicine cat after a wolf attack. After she had finished, not wanting to miss giving his two claws about this, Eelchaser spoke up: “Is it really safe to accept her? What if she goes about and tells about ThunderClan secrets to other Clans? Clearly, she must have some ulterior motive for this!”

Template by Kuroya of THQ & GS. Soft-tailSunshine filtered through the canopy, hitting the eating tom’s fur just perfectly so he’d warm himself. Almost golden, his swirling pattern shone underneath the sun, and while the purring tom’s eyes dwindled from their alert state, Lynxstar entered the Camp with an unfamiliar face. Alarm spun in his head, and almost immediately, his mind was fully awake. But there was no need - everything was fine. Curious, the tom turned to a neighbouring cat who must’ve also been enjoying the heat and asked “I wonder what this is all about.” However, before he could pay any attention to a response, he heard the leader call for a Clan Meeting. Hurriedly, the warrior paced to a spot near the front. Other murmurs broke among him, and while his ears wanted to listen, his leafy-green eyes were focused on the newcomer, judging the she-cat, studying her. ‘Is she a threat,’ questioned the tom in his mind. ‘Of course not, why else would she be here?’ continued Soft-tail. ‘A prisoner? No, that can’t be.’As more questions piled in his mind, Lynxstar quickly answered them all by declaring that all of ThunderClan will vote on whether or not the stranger will join them. With determination in his heart, Soft-tail was already prepared to answer that question. But someone beat him to the race. Mosspaw, another WindClan cat, one of the two the warrior himself found lost and hurt (mostly the second one was hurt) on ThuderClan’s territory, spoke up. The words that escaped the young apprentice’s mouth would’ve stung anyone, even just a little bit. And she was right. What about honour? And what about loyalty? Could this strange warrior really be trusted? And then Eelchaser mewed his disagreement as well. ‘A bit dumb coming from someone who left their clan themself.’ But he also raised some valid concerns. What if she later left ThunderClan and told them their secrets? After all, she’s willing to essentially betray her own Clan, so why not Soft-tail’s, too? Annoyed, the tom shook away the thoughts. Not wanting to be left out, he quickly added his own opinion: “While I do agree that this is dangerous, Lynxstar clearly trusts the she-cat more than enough to at least give her a chance. And, frankly, I trust my leader. So if he trusts the WindClan warrior enough, I’d say it’s a shot to let her stay. Plus, another skilled warrior surely wouldn’t hurt anyone, nor would the extra knowledge this she-cat could bring.
I’d bet she could be quite a lot more helpful than some cats that have forgotten their origins think. And to add onto that, we’ve already let a rather questionable warrior in, from a Clan we distrust a lot more than WindClan.” The tom’s face kept going over everyone else’s, trying to convince them that this could be a good thing. | | Words. 475 Tags. Blaze , Thorne Notes. I guess Soft-tail doesn't really like Eelchaser. Wonder why. | |
Template by Kuroya of THQ & GS. HailskyQuietly, the she-cat waited for the other cats’ judgement. Truthfully, the warrior was sure no one would actually disagree. Knowledge was all they’d want, like WindClan, correct? Then the snow-white warrior had no reason to worry. Calmly, her icy-blue eyes watched as her soon to be clanmates thought about this decision. It made sense that they’d want to think over it, everyone would. Curiosity pricked at her when a familiar voice sounded through the meeting. No, it didn’t come from the cats in front of her, but from where she believed the Medicine Cat Den was. Mosspaw was spitting at her, looking furious. Chilly calmness met the distraught eyes as the warrior weighed the words of the apprentice. After some thought, slowly, Hailfrost got up and paced towards her soon to be old clanmate, but didn’t dare to leave the circle from which ThunderClan could see her. Starring right in the Ice element with her own freezing gaze and began to speak: “Honour… Such an intriguing word, wouldn’t you say, Mosspaw? What is honour within WindClan? Isn’t it rather, shall we say, subjective? Whatever honour might mean to you could mean something else to, say, Poppyleap. And loyalty? I certainly do not understand the problem.” the she-cat paused. “What is the most important thing to a WindClan warrior? I’m sure you know the answer, right? As a WindClan apprentice, you should have learned about this from your mentor long, long ago. But in case you’ve forgotten, it’s knowledge.
So let me give you some by explaining to you how WindClan works: we will do everything to gain knowledge.
I know it must be hard for someone so young to understand - you’re still training - but calling me unhonourable, disloyal to my Clan? That’s a bit harsh, wouldn’t you say, Mosspaw? I understand that you were raised by a loving mother who taught you about life, but I was raised by the Clan, not a mother. And the Clan’s rules, the Clan’s traditions, everything the Clan taught me was that I will go and search for more than just WindClan. Like a seed traveling across mountains, I will go and see everything, and I will go and learn everything. That’s what the Clan says.
And yet, here you are, an apprentice with powers you cannot fully comprehend, telling a fully grown warrior that they are disloyal to the Clan, when they are doing exactly what the Clan has commanded them to do, and they are unhonourable simply because they are doing what the Clan said was right.
Truthfully, I believe that it’s quite unhonourable to speak to your warriors this way, when you barely have the knowledge to internalise what is happening.”A few more warriors had spoken before the she-cat had begun talking to Mosspaw, but that did not matter. Their opinions had surely been positive. What did matter was that the warrior had done her duty to educate the younger cat. ‘Shame on Emberwing for not teaching her sooner,’ scuffed the she-cat in her mind. At once, Hailsky returned to her place in the clearing and, rather bored now, began to groom her snowy fur. Template by Kuroya of THQ & GS.

No doubt, Vixenleap had some serious same-sex aggression issues, as could be seen in her relationship with her apprentice. However, she had an unspoken infatuation with Lynxstar, as sort of Bonnie-and-Clyde relationship with a special sickening twist of its own. Had the red-furred warrior ever claimed him as her own? No- of course not, she had far too much honor to do such a thing. That being said, the warrior was far from loyal in the relationship herself: she liked it being open-ended, considering that she had a "close call" that resulted in a pair of kittens that she attempted to (and failed) to abandon. And then, there was that interesting tom, Crow-something-or-other, from ShadowClan...heh. Now that was a secret that she'd definitely have to keep buried. Her promiscuous relationships with toms outside (and occasionally inside) her clan were like the fire that she wielded: short, yet intense. The thing she had with Lynxstar was somewhat different, a relationship she couldn't quite wrap her head around. Nonetheless, she liked what they had. But letting this creature come crawling into their honorable clan, boasting these so-called "skills" and attempting to lecture the clan about honor when she had shamelessly abandoned her own clan? Now that was something that Vixenleap wouldn't swallow. "Oh, I'm so surprised- another WindClanner with a stick shoved up where it doesn't belong! What knowledge could you possibly possess, oh great one, when WindClan is nothing more than a gang of spineless peace-preachers? You've already put me to sleep with that interesting lecture you gave to poor Mosspaw. I never knew that WindClan had 'sleep' powers." Did she speak quietly? No- of course not. Any seasoned warrior of ThunderClan knew better than to attempt to shut Vixenleap's trap. The red one took a bold step forward, the air surrounding the feline hot from her increasing body temperature. Her hackles were raised, as if she were eager to strike down the outsider herself. "Want to give me a lecture on my temper, about how I'm nothing more than brawn? Go ahead- do it. Put me to sleep with your speeches while our DarkClan enemies crawl around in the shadows and try to gain ground. What we need in ThunderClan is warriors, not diplomats with egos the size of Lynxstar. Go 'learn' something else, like something useful- I don't know, battle skills? Dignity? Loyalty to a clan?"Had the outsider been a tom, the interaction would have likely gone much differently, perhaps much more so in the stranger's favor. But this cat, this one was female. Vixenleap could not tolerate other she-cats. "If she can betray WindClan for the sake of 'knowledge', then how do we know she won't do the same to us in battle, with ShadowClan or DarkClan?" At last, the venomous feline seemed to take control of her unspeakable temper and lower her voice to a threatening whisper. "I will take the honor of chasing her out myself."Blaze Ioana003 Thorne

Crowfang hesitated and cringed inwardly when Vixenleap humbly took up the task of making a big scene in front of the clan. Was he surprised? Of course not. He never understood how his brother could tolerate being around the hot-headed she-cat, or even be in her presence and come out in one piece. Honestly, he was somewhat nervous to go against Vixenleap, in the small chance that she might turn on him and take her rage out on her clanmate rather than the outsider.
However, amid the red warrior's nonsensical anger-babble, she did made...some sense? "Vixenleap has a point," the smoke warrior added, although he was completely against the concept of war. "If she's eager to leave WindClan to learn about the other clans, whose to say she won't leave us as well? Or spread word of our own secrets, considering she's so willing to give away her own?" What if she was an advocate for war, even if she was of the diplomatic WindClan? How were they to know that she didn't have a greater agenda that she simply wasn't sharing with them?
----
Newtpaw listened to her mentor with keen, attentive ears as he instructed the clan to begin their vote. At first, the entire event seemed rather peaceful and organized, with individuals stepping forward and taking their turn to spill their mind and make their decision. But, of course, it seemed to descend into chaos when Vixenleap just so happened to open her fat mouth. The mottled apprentice twitched her tail in anticipation as she observed the scene, but bit her lip and didn't say anything. StarClan knows I can't tolerate that cat... Although the ruddy she-cat was a capable warrior, she had a way of getting under most everyone's skin.
She shifted, but did her best to keep her cool and simply observe rather than intervene. Unlike most of her fellow apprentices, Newtpaw was not allowed to vote in the meeting due to the authoritative rank she held. Today, it was her duty to learn, to listen, and not to speak. Perhaps it was for the better- it seemed awfully tedious.

Copperlight could barely keep up with everything that was going on. One moment, he and Fogpaw were just returning from a hunting patrol, the next his clan was advocating for the violent removal (possible death in Vixenleap’s case) of a WindClan warrior. Watching her tell of the apprentice that decided to fight a wolf for fun, he decided that she had some spunk. Maybe she’d help with their ShadowClan problem? Fogpaw was more worried about the fact that there was finally someone to talk to! She seemed kinda scary, he didn’t think she’d blinked once since he first returned to camp, but Lynxstar seemed to trust her enough to take her here. Maybe she was trustworthy? His train of thought came to a halt when Copperlight spoke. ”Even though Crowfang and Vixenleap are right, I think we should stop thinking about what she could tell them and start focusing on what she could show us. From what we just saw, she’s obviously the type of cat to speak from the heart and she’s told us herself that she has told us herself that she has no reason to betray ThunderClan and I, for one, would prefer if we didn’t give her one.” he said, raising his voice above the crowd. ”Yeah!” Fogpaw mewed. ”Besides, even if she were trying to go against us, Vixenleap said it herself! WindClan is a bunch of peace-preachers! They might have details about us, but what are they gonna do with it? Stormstar wouldn’t go against us even if his own pelt were on the line.”Ioana003 20mia08

He allowed his warriors to argue amongst themselves for a few moments - as well as ignoring a very inappropriate comment from Fishtail - before he stood and flicked his tail for silence. ”With that, I call the voting to an end. All those in favor of Hailsky returning to WindClan, please stand by the nursery.” he said. He saw Vixenleap immediately stand and trot over to the nursery, followed by Crowfang, Eelchaser, Raggedtuft, Acornpaw, Heatherpaw, Featherbelly, Blackfern and Lilacheart a few heart beats later. ‘That was a good portion of the clan,’ he thought to himself. ‘Hopefully, I’ll at least be able to send her off if she doesn’t get in.’
He took a breath.
”All those of in favor of Hailsky joining ThunderClan, please stand by the warrior den.”
At first no one moved, but a shuffle of paws and Copperlight hesitantly padded over. Fogpaw joined him much after and soon many other warriors joined them. It was close, but he could see his father padding over, grumbling all the way. He sent a silent thank you to Dogflight before he raised his voice again. “The clan has spoken! Hailsky will join our ranks as a ThunderClan warrior, and we will welcome her as one. For now, she will sleep in the apprentice den until she has completed her training, her mentor shall be Crowfang. This meeting is over.” He stood and leapt down, sending a glance over to Crowfang.
He knew his brother better than one might think
