—————Silverpelt’s path—————
“If you look up at the sky at night, not only will you see the Starclan cats, but a colourfull smoky patchy road sprinkled with many stars.
That is path of Silverpelt.
But silverpelt’s path wasn’t always there, just like our elemental blessings from starclan.
Silverpelt’s story goes back in a time long, long ago, when the tiger used to smoke and the wolf still sung along with the morning birds.
Back then there was a tribe of proud warriors, feared by all the other cats living around.
Children,these were our ancestors.
They might have not yet mastered the elements, but that didn’t hinder them.
They were slyer and more cunning than a fox, their claws were sharper than an Ice elemental’s icicles, tougher than an Earth elementals boulders, their hearts burning stronger than a Fire elementals inferno, mightier and more gracefull than any water Elementals waves, their eyes sparkling with more intensity than a Storm elemental’s lightning, faster and quicker than any Air elemental’s tornado, and deadlier than a Dark elementals black grasp.
And their great leader was Silverpelt, you may have heard stories of the doings of Silverpelt and such, but that is a story of an another time.
Though, Silverpelt was still made of blood and meat and the end eventually came for him too.
Generations without him passed, and unless there was enemies to be taken care of,they lived peacefully.
And soon enough, the little territory they had wasn’t enough to sustain the big group of cats,so the mainly younger cats set off to habitate other lands, leaving their peers behind.
It was best so.
But as time passed, the cats that stayed started to loose the same shiny skills they possesed,as there was no need to use them as enemies kept far away out of fear.
And different sicknesses started to tear at their numbers, but they remained.
One day however, everything changed as dark beasts started to lurk around the horizon.
Other animals started to flee, and it started to look dire for our brave warriors.
A dreadfull day the dark dog like beasts circled in the tribe, their dull red eyes flickering with murderous intents.
They lowly growled to eachother, deciding to leave no survivors and slowly eat away the whole world, leaving nothing but destruction and a broken world, and then aim at the sky.
So at the beggining of dusk they atacked with fericious howls, getting met with exceptional and dedicated defense, but they were few.
Mothers fought to protect their young, fathers fought to protect their family and apprentinces died martyr deaths left and right to save their whole tribe, but it wasn’t enough to stop the beasts.
The desperate, hopelost warriors turned to the sky and pleading for their help,oh where was their great leader Silverpelt?
Don’t you hear that your cats that you took so much pride in are getting slaughtered and need your help?
Are you going to abandon us great Silverpelt?
Low and behold,Silverpelt had heard their cries.
With a loud thundering roar the ground shook violently, making beast and warriors look up at the sky.
And there was Silverpelt with eyes glowing of wild power and rage, with long leaps leading the starry army of thousands and thousands of cats down from the dark sky to aid his cats one last time.
It was a divine sight with all the sky-star dust kicked around and the recently killed cats joining Silverpelt’s shining army, filling the warriors with strength and power and the beasts with terror and panick.
Great grandfather fought side by side with great grandson,Great grandmother fought along side by side with great granddaughter, mighty ancient warriors fought side by side with newly appointed apprentinces.
Together they drove the dark beasts out,out of this world, crushing them under their paws so that they might never bring destruction on this land ever again.
((A ending)) But there was one beast they couldn’t crush.
It was the biggest, uggliest, shaggiest, smelliest, with the most murderous red eyes and most fangs that still growled and yapped around, setting its target on Silverpelt.
Silverpelt lured the beast up in the sky where they fought and fought, but no one could win.
As it slowly started to slip and dawn,Silverpelt made their last sacrifice.
With a deafening bang, nothing could be seen anylonger from the two creatures, instead colorfull smokes and starry particles floated around on the sky.
Their great leader was gone, and the alive and star army sat long singing for their fallen great leader.
Song of the warriors.
For the cat who saved them for their ultimate demise by sacrificing his existence for them, their people.
Now the star army didn’t have a leader and in the end decided that no one could take Silverpelt’s place.
They stayed with the living world untill the next night,as with teary goodbyes they sprung up in the air, returning to their havenly home.
A leader loved and alike Silverpelt has never been born again, but as clans we are much stronger than a tribe.
So keep your witts and claws sharp little ones, and work hard to be a warrior as this way we shall be unbreakable.
Now rest sweetly in your nests and may the star army be with you,I have another story for tomorrow.”
(Did I just shameleslly post this without writing a B ending that is happeir and Silverpelt still exists? Yeah,I might add it later though.
And this isn't really all my work,it is a Hungarian/Székely tale that I decided to rewrite into the warriors universe with some twists since the main theme could easily fit the world of warrior cats.
Starry ancestor warriors descending from heaven? That has happened in the series even if they were there to talk instead to fight.
In the tale they only scare the normal human atackers away and the kicked up dust from the sky path becomes the milky way,but I decided to change those aspects and Silverpelt is my own thought out character.
But the words „when the tiger used to smoke" is actually how most Malaysian ((I think so atleast)) stories have their starts apparently.
All in all in the end,I thought this would be intresting to have as a legend)
