HeavyCarp was running hard as usual, flexing his muscles and watching the waters for fish. As he ran he came to a sudden halt to catch his breath, he lifted his head up and took many heavy breaths of cold air. Leaf bare slowly took its leave finally on the clans as New leaf settled in, HeavyCarp hated leaf bare and was more than happy it was over.
He shook his head and slipped into the water trying to not move the water too much and scaring any potential prey, and went a little deep into the water and waited. He used his water ability to his advantage, he could stay there for hours if it wasn't freezing cold. Due to leaf bare just leaving, the water was Icey and if he stayed in the water for over maybe 7 minutes he would get sick.

After about 2 minutes, he spotted a small school of maybe 3-7 Common Shiner fish, not as many as usual but that was fine. HeavyCarp waited until the fish were right above him, then he shot himself upward with his feet and caught a medium sized fish. He grabbed it by its stomach and pushed his legs so that he would reach the surface within a few seconds. He had a tight grip on the fish as he reached the surface and got out the water. The fish flailed around unsuccessfully as he tightened his bite and carried the fish to camp.
It wasn't a big catch like usual but it was enough to hopefully feed a clanmate in need.
He sat the fish down on his way back, his jaw was cramping. He had big teeth so that meant he had to make his bite extra big so he didn't end up taking a hunk out of the fish, he also had kinda messed up teeth so this was also bad. While he sat he decided to shake his pelt, he forgot to do that every once in a while, even though water usually slid off his fur quiet easily. The weather was as nice as it would get and he appreciated it, he hated swimming in the cold water but he took what he could get.
