Physical Appearance
*Brief Description:
A lanky young tom with a goofy disposition and awkward poise, lanky and skinny through and through. He has cinnamon-pointed, short, fine fur and brilliant cobalt eyes that glitter with curiosity.
In-depth Description:
Mushroom's body is long and lanky, legs thin enough his paws almost seem uncomfortable just looking at him, though he doesn't seem to mind. The tom feels almost disproportionately sized, especially with his relatively thin and small body that hasn't quite grown into his features. His paws are wide and flat, like tulip bulbs on the end of a stem. His ears are long, wide, and point outwards instead of up, like a bat's. His muzzle is very pronounced and extended down slightly, framed by cinnamon fur compared to his usual pale fluff. His long, spindly tail, large paws, and sunflower-sized ears are also cinnamon-brown, paired with his bold blue eyes.

- Creative and Open-minded. He always looks for as many solutions to a problem, often picking the most intriguing ones.
- Passive. He tries his best to not let other's comments bother or frustrate him.
- Resolved. He won't let other cats tell him what to believe, or what he can or cannot do.

- Reclusive. He tends to choose activities only he wants to do at certain times, leading him to not play or have idle conversations with clan mates during sharing-tongues as much as the average cat.
- Social anxiety. The apprentice is very quiet, barely using his words unless absolutely forced. He also does not like being the center of attention or having eyes pinned on him. (Selective Mute due to this.)

- Wanderlust. He has urges to go and see new sights, whether or not he has permission.
- Chatty. With so many thoughts and questions to share, he has difficulty sharing them all or finding those who will listen.
- Innocent. Mushroompaw is a happy-go-lucky tom, he's not fully understanding of the dangers and intensity of the warrior life, and that may put him at risk. However, he is a more positive force that wants to keep things peaceful between others, even if he doesn't know how.
Personality description:
Mushroom is free soul. He doesn't let others tell him how to think or decide his limits for him. As a result, he's not the traditional kind of cat most will find. While being off-putting to some, Mushroom depends on using body language to guide his thoughts, winking, shaking, rearing back, throwing objects... It's all he has to communicate and he tries his best to connect the dots for others. He's rather sharp but his.. unconventional ways of showing it have others searching for clues for his behavior. From an outside point of view, he may seem like a kit who was born yesterday, though it's quite contrary. He is intelligent and loves looking at situations objectively to figure out how to choose what's best. Like others among Windclan, outside clan cats may think he is weak and indecisive, yet he is just of the persuasion that those that wait reap the best rewards.
The young tom doesn't enjoy opening his mouth for others he isn't absolutely comfortable with, even to his detriment. As a result he has difficulty bonding with other clan mates, stuttering horribly or sounding hoarse when he is made to speak. He struggles with being comfortable around many cats, but doesn't wish much harm to any that bother him. Mushroompaw understands that he may be detrimental to his clan, and he tries his best to make them proud even without speech. Unnecessary violence and brutality never sat well with him, and the diplomatic process of Riverclan sounds quite appealing to him. He wishes that peaceful times and minimized conflict can be viable in his lifetime, no matter how bleak situations may be. Even as a relatively outgoing and kind tom, he tends to be left alone to his "work", playing with the scrapped remains of prey and examining them for hours on end, collecting useless plants and stones, and wandering through nooks and crannies for long amounts of time. While he's not bothered by it, he does tend to get lonely. He's very affectionate and a conversationalist, but that is difficult without words to say.

History
*History:
- Mushroompaw was born in a relatively small litter, only him and his littermate [X], sired by [X] and [X].
- There was mild favoritism as his sibling wasn't as hardy or adventurous as he had been. One night, as he slowly crept outside the nursery in mischief, he saw the shadowed forms of his clan mates keeping vigil and night watch. They ended up scaring him as his naive mind envisioned them as looming dark cats waiting to capture him in their jet-black claws. From then on, the rusting of paw-steps and murmuring voices have stressed him.
- Taller cats have always subconsciously intimidated him, and eventually his posture became more hunched and low to the ground. His mentor at first terrified the tom, and the apprentice ceremony had left him trembling and seeing Starclan float before his eyes. It took many moons since his apprenticeship before he slowly began to trust [X].
- Mushroom is now mute (not physically). He typically uses tail signals and body motions to convey thoughts. Though it's not uncommon for him to use props or drawings with a stick either, especially for those not familiar with his personal language. He tries his best to prove to his clan, kin, and mentor that he is valuable and loyal to his clan, potentially to all of them.
