Being escorted home by both the ThunderClan deputy as well as her peers was humiliating. Eveningpaw did not envy the scolding she'd receive the moment Fallowbird saw her. It had been smooth sailing travelling through the tunnels with her Clanmates after parting ways with Briarsong & her patrol at the border. Eveningpaw had to admit, they felt much safer with another moon's work put into them. Still, she didn't like the feeling of not seeing the sky above her head. It was unsettling.
She shook out her tortoiseshell pelt upon arriving in camp. Would Stormstar punish her? What would Fallowbird say?
Eveningpaw shuffled her paws awkwardly as cats looked at her. If only Mosspaw was here to take some of the pressure off of her shoulders. She'd have to set the stage for her sister's grand return. Mother hen & the children are very welcome to swarm the thread |

It brought her immense relief to hear that her missing daughters were safe, but she'd feel better once they were all home, reunited as a family.[break][break]
Her ears perked up as she watched the patrol leave the tunnels and quickly rose to her paws to meet Eveningpaw. "Great StarClan, Eveningpaw, you had me worried sick!" She huffed, nuzzling the tortoiseshell feline. She started grooming her daughter's fur furiously. "Do you have any idea how utterly foolish it was to go out there on your own? How much time we all spent looking for you and your sister?" She asked.[break][break]
"Some cats thought you had died! StarClan if that was true, I don't know what I would have done!"[break][break]
After her initial mother's adrenaline finally settled, she pressed her forehead against Eveningpaw's cheek softly. "I'm just so glad you two are safe. Once Mosspaw comes home, we'll all be a family again."
