The deputy stared at the cats of the clan, ears pinned back as he thought. The clan needed a pick-me-up; it felt so...dreary. Camp felt tense, and was quieter than usual.
What could he do to help? He thought, glancing around. There were many, many pine needles and leaves within the camp, and it'd suddenly occur to him that they hadn't had a Fire Lighting in Starclan knows how long. That seemed like a great idea! Not only could Fire Elementals blow off some steam, but Air Elementals could as well, and it always entertained the kits and apprentices. It was the perfect time. With a grin, the tom gathered the clan.
"It's been many, many moons since our last Fire Lighting. In fact, I don't even remember it." He started off, beginning to grow nervous as the eyes of his clan were on him. The lanky tom continued. "So, let us have a Fire Lighting tonight. We all are tense, I'm sure, and a little bit of fun - within boundaries - is certainly needed." His ears were perked as he finished, smiling down at the clan. "Well, lets begin!"

Silentsmoke wasn't happy with his sister. He still couldn't forgive Quietstorm for her travesties- not when she traded him in for some she-cat. Had she forgotten about all the things they'd been through together, as brother and sister, twins even? He was glad that Nightstar and Crowleap had decided upon a suitable punishment for Quietstorm and Sunwing, by means of separating them and treating them like the adolescents they were by confining them to the apprentice's den. He could only hope that they didn't burn the den down. The feather-furred tom sent a glare in the direction of his littermate, who sat out her punishment in the apprentice's den before keenly listening to the clan deputy. Before Crowleap was promoted, Silentsmoke essentially hired the tom to be his forced-friend in order to make Quietstorm jealous. But, it wasn't working. ...Nonetheless, he did enjoy the smoky tom's company, even if he didn't want to admit it. ...It couldn't be more than that, right? It was all a ploy, just a façade. He had to be convincing in order to fake-out his sister, otherwise the act wouldn't be at all believable. But like it or not, Silentsmoke was finding himself wishing to be in the company of Crowleap more and more. But it was...it was difficult. The warrior was always difficult, he couldn't appear as some soft and moony-eyed cat and he had too much pride to admit that he was falling for that silly long-legged Crowleap. He tired to appear casual, aloof and cool as he usually was as he slowly approached Crowleap after the announcement. Fire Lighting could be fun, right? He cleared his throat, shaking away the awkwardness he felt and replacing it with this stony and commanding exterior as per usual. "Hey," he openly called towards Crowleap, "...can, uhm...I want to sit with you when we light the fire."simonwho

The deputy purred as the clan finally began to interact as they had before, talking amongst themselves, clearly excited for this event. It had been quite a while since he'd even seen a Fire Lighting, and the excitement was evident on his face. The lanky tom couldn't stop smiling. His eyes roamed before locking onto the approaching tom - Silentsmoke. He felt his heart stop for a moment before he stood and met the feline halfway. For a moment, Crowleap wondered if Silentsmoke could hear his pounding heart. Only recently had the deputy noticed that his feelings towards the warrior were not....entirely platonic. No, they weren't platonic at all, in fact. He would more than willingly admit that he was head over paws for him if anyone asked. Ears perking up as Silentsmoke began to speak, he tilted his head. Silentsmoke wanted to sit with him? HIM?! "Uh, y-yeah, of course." He replied. 20mia08

I know that it is freezing
But i think we have to walk
Sparkflower was grooming herself near the edges of camp as Crowleap caught her attention with his announcement. The calico stretched, flexing her claws into the ground as she did so, making her way down to where the others were starting to gather. He was right; it had been a long time since they embraced this tradition. She'd be happy to help start the fires whenever the others were ready.
The molly found a place in the crowd, sweeping some dried pine needles closer to herself, looking around in anticipation. This was exciting! It was the perfect pick-me-up after the last gathering, that was certain.

ShadowClan had the molly and her partner-in-crime in the doghouse. Boo. She didn't really care about the punishment- she wore it with pride and admired the chaos she and Sunwing had caused in a such a short period of time. It was screaming proof that fire was the superior element, and that ThunderClan had no right to push them around. So Quietstorm sat in the apprentice's den, narrowing her eyes at Crowleap as he announced the fire lighting event. She was never one for tradition as she lived for chaos, constantly craving something new and exciting. As a result, she felt complete with the ginger she-cat by her side. They truly were a chaotic duo. The tiny cat couldn't resist squinting at her brother as he scuttled over to Crowleap. Ew- sucking up to the deputy for company? That was low, especially for Silentsmoke. The bored jet molly sent a glance over to her companion, nodding in the direction of the gathering cats who intended on participating in the event. "Seems like an opportunity missed, no?" She mewed with a dramatized sigh. "Small-minded cats, our clanmates are. Why burn a tiny pile of tinder when you can burn over half of ThunderClan's territory?" She really liked the company of Sunwing. She couldn't explain why or exactly what she felt, outside of the strong sensation of belonging and satisfaction in their "accomplishments". In a way, she as the molly's side-kick, although Quietstorm wouldn't settle for such a title. More like ring-leader and enabler, perhaps. Quietstorm never understood why ShadowClan didn't capitalize in the opportunity they had created. ThunderClan was at its weakest. They had lost their hunting grounds, their homes, and many of their valuable warriors. Yet, Nightstar and Crowleap were set on scolding Quietstorm and Sunwing like they were a pair of helpless, dumb kits. They knew what they did. And they were damn proud of it. Thornesimonwhofern
