Physical Appearance

Brief Description: A medium-furred grey molly with blue eyes

In-depth Description: As a kit, Hickorykit is small with rounded ears, kitten fuzz, and pale blue eyes which have yet to open. As she grows, she will become sleek and lithe, more like a Windclan cat than a Thunderclan cat, with medium solid grey fur, a long tail, and golden-amber eyes.

Personality description (once developed): In her youth, and likely well beyond, Hickorykit is a nurturing and compassionate soul - however, she is a soul with no voice. She may speak happily to her clanmates and willingly make friends and play games, but her true thoughts and opinions are kept hidden. Living around confident and outspoken individuals, Hickorykit will hold her tongue to avoid an argument, becoming self-repressive to the point she is almost dishonest. She hates fighting, and with such doubt in her own rights and opinions, she fronts as submissive, allowing those around her to push her around without resistance. However, all this repression and submission only makes matters worse for the hypersensitive young molly, as all these thoughts and feelings overwhelm her, only to be bottled inside for fear that they are merely an overreaction. Yet despite this, it seems she has no qualms about being pushed around. If anything, perhaps she does not notice. With such a co-dependent and trusting nature, she sees only the good in others and wants nothing more than to make them happy and see that good in themselves. If her obedience makes them happy, so be it. If her smiling through her tears makes them happy, then she will. Her altruism is thus a double-edged sword - on one paw, she could be prized for how kind and giving she is. On the other, it only makes it easier for her to be trampled and misused.

Much like her altruism, Hickorykit's humility and loyalty can be seen from two sides. From a more negative or sympathetic point of view, her humility lends to a low opinion of herself, yet another reason why she is so obedient and keeps her thoughts to herself; her loyalty may often be taken too far, being held above her own beliefs, or given to those who don't deserve it because she feels she must. However, that is not to say they are all bad. Her loyalty gives her a sense of purpose and belonging, as well as settling nicely with her moral code - although her loyalty will not always fall only to her clan. Her humility allows her to be more open to the perspectives and worth of others, something she puts a lot of passion into. Whether a creature is deserving or not, Hickorykit may always be as encouraging to them as she is restrictive to herself, being a cat who certainly gives better advice than what she takes herself. She wants to help others be their best, and see their own light. She will always aim to be a reliable and trustworthy friend, one that others can trust and turn to in need. To Hickorykit, others will always come first, a fact which shows in ways both good and bad.

History: Little has happened in young Hickorykit's life. She was born alongside her sisters Maplekit, Boulderkit, and Eaglekit, and her three-legged brother Tumblekit, the only fire kit of the family. Her father was the bold and powerful Lynxstar, and perhaps as a strange twist of events, her mother a far younger former Windclan warrior named Hailsky.
