Lynxstar returns Ravenstar’s look, not caring enough to return her disdain. StarClan would handle it.
He actually sits and listens for once, flicking an ear at the mention of a new element - how interesting. He’d have to look into that at a later date. It seems StarClan still had much in store for the valley, then. News of a WindClan deputy had become norm at this point, so he elected to ignore whatever poor soul had been ripped apart by those mutts. He was honestly surprised by WindClan’s numbers, surely they’d have dwindled by now? Ah, but the news of new kits and a new system made sense, he thought. Perhaps he isn’t so airheaded after all, he thought.
”I am happy to hear of your newest warriors; ThunderClan congratulates them both,” he starts. ”ThunderClan continues to recover from the fire set by ShadowClan; our forest has been regrown and we flourish well. In addition to gaining two new warriors, Fogheart and Acorncloud, ThunderClan welcomes new faces among our ranks - Boulderkit, Maplekit, Eaglekit, Hickorykit and Tumblekit, all of which parented by Hailsky and myself,” he nods to the queen below. ”Prey is returning and morale runs high. Soon we will take part in our Newleaf Ceremony and our kits will take part in the tradition.”

Here's to hoping their meeting goes well. | Newleaf Gathering - Full Circle Quietly, the she-cat had followed behind her Leader and newly appointed deputy. Most others were chatting to one another in a hushed tone, but that full moon, Poppyleap simply found herself feeling alone. There was nothing in particular that had happened earlier that day - the sun was shining and the fields held the crisp breeze of Newleaf over the hills, but the water element simply wasn’t all that keen on walking that night. A good nap would have sufficed, but she still decided to go nevertheless.
Admittedly, what she had found out was much more interesting than she had originally imagined. There, sitting slightly away from her Clan, near the dull river that surrounded the small island, her eyes widened in surprise as the news of an undiscovered element broke though. How could that have been possible? And RiverClan of all Clans? Those fish-breath cowards couldn’t possibly have been blessed by StarClan with a new element, right? Their representative wasn’t even there to announce it!
But that wasn’t all. The news of a murder was even more concerning. And of someone who is from outside? Could Primrose had done it? But her scent would be of WindClan by now, right? Well, she didn’t know the cat particularly well, but still…
There were many confusing questions trailing around her head. And while she tried her best, no answers came and the Gathering was nearing its end. Perhaps she could ask someone else for advice? But who? |

Peachdusk followed the rest of her clan, choosing to sit near the back so she could breath. Her ears flicked, her gaze focused on the leaders as they began. A new element discovered? In Riverclan? It was rather intriguing, and she assumed every cat wished to know more. However, the news of a murder made her blood run cold. A murderer in the territory meant that no cat was safe alone, and seeing as she had no friends within her own clan, she...was alone.
Perhaps she needed to interact with her clanmates more often. The tabby glanced around, eyes landing on a windclan she-cat. Quietly, she stood and padded over, offering a small smile. "You seem like you need someone to talk to?" She offered, sitting a decent distance away. Peachdusk herself was confused with all this new information.
Crowleap, on the other hand, sat quietly, ears twitching. His eyes narrowed at the reveal of a murder. The new element wasn't much of a concern for him, but a murder? Silentsmoke or his kits could get hurt, or worse. The very thought of his family being harmed made his blood boil. He would not allow such a thing to happen. He would have to speak with Nightstar about patrols. He elected to ignore Lynxstar for the moment, casting a glance over his clan.
Shadowclan would be fine. Right? They had many strong warriors.

Here go all of the notes you want to write! Like excuses. | Newlead Gathering - Full Circle "Oh?" the she-cat exclaimed. "Maybe a little, haha."
There, not too close but not too far either, sat a fawn cat, asking if she wanted to talk. "It's just a little stressful... Wolves were bad enough, but knowing another cat is killing Warriors, well - it's just not very nice to think about." It was true, and she felt more than just stressed; Poppyleap felt scared. What if one of her brothers died? Will they have another bloodied Deputy on their paws? RiverClan was next to WindClan, what if the killer moves to them. Or worse, it's already there?
"What about you? What do you think?" Her eyebrows furrowed, worry being clear on her face, but regardless, the calico have her best shot to appear friendly. |

Peachdusk shrugged. "I think we'll be fine as long as we don't go out alone." The she-cat glanced over at her clanmates, eyes softening. "I think some of my clanmates would be fine alone, especially with their element. Apprentices wouldn't be able to go out alone, of course." Peachdusk moved her eyes over to Poppyleap, "Sorry! I'm Peachdusk, by the way." She gave a smile, tilting her head.
